Least Favorite Wrestling Move/Strike in Pro Wrestling
At least with something dumb like the Canadian Destroyer it looks cool. I can forgive a dumb move if it's a cool visual. The springboard cutter just looks dumb and it gets botched in some way 9 times out of 10. It's a shame with Lethal. He had some really great matches with Jarrett and Sting because they would force him to pace himself. I also thought his best work was as Black Machismo.

Least Favorite Wrestling Move/Strike in Pro Wrestling
This is the worst. It doesn't even look like it would hurt let alone finish a match.

That happened with Ox Baker I think.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
I kind of knew after the Dayton last October show that they were in trouble. They did this big elimination match for the main event. It came down to Dalton Castle and Moose vs. Jay Lethal and Roderick Strong. Castle and Moose got taken down with relative ease. It was really kind of deflating to watch and really set the tone for the roster going forward.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
I think the insanity of their price model is when it's 6 months later and they still want the same full PPV price for the VOD. Also why are there no options to download or watch the VOD on TV. It's just lazy.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
Their misuse of Dalton Castle just blows me away. He should have been beating Strong or Lethal to get the TV Title at the end of last year not spinning his wheels doing nothing.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
Yeah, I'm starting to feel like the New Japan deal has outlived it's usefulness.

Global Force Wrestling
They announced a Colt Cabana vs. Damien Sandow match in NJ next month. That's actually something I would be interested in seeing.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
I think being shuffled off to TNA did him in. I honestly never liked him and said when he was starting out that he was everything wrong with indy wrestling. I think my decreased interest in RoH was directly linked to his rise up the card and the promotion was suddenly interesting again when he was gone.

NWA-TNA 2003 aka a passive-agressive way to deal with depression
I really loved the backstage nonsense they did with New Jack and Shark Boy during this time period. Shark Boy was one of my favorites until TNA fucked him up with that Austin impression. It was funny once or twice but got old the 50th time he did it.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
Yeah, using such an unlikable douche as your main babyface for a national expansion was a bad idea.

I don't know if it came up on this episode but Kris, you need to do a podcast talking about your action figure collection.

Dragon Gate
I was a big fan until they cracked down on DVD sales in the States when DGUSA started.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
During the Cornette era they needed 500 people a show to break even if I remember correctly and they weren't getting that most nights. The last few years they've been going to a lot of new markets and getting 600-800 in a lot of places.

For all of his faults, he stabilized the product after Cornette ran into the ground. He's just good enough to not get rid of in favor of someone else. He knows the fanbase and what to give them.i honestly think his biggest fault is the same as the rest of the company and that's the poor eye for upcoming talent. If you believe Cornette he was also Jim's right hand man as he ran the company into the ground so shouldn't that really be a double edged sword situation? It's like saying "Hey thanks for helping us fix what you helped someone else fuck up" I think they were using him to transition and because they're cheap fucks and then he started getting some traction with his own ideas. The product started getting a lot better once the stink of Cornette was off of it. And honestly, I can't think of anyone that would navigate the landmines as well as he has.

A bit late on this one. Part of Heenan's promo was bleeped on the original broadcast. It happened before Patera started talking.

Your Favourite Episode of Wrestling Television
The Raw episode where the 1-2-3 Kid beat Razor Ramon and Marty Jannetty returned and then won the IC Title later in the show. Still one of the best episodes of Raw ever.

Ed Leslie post having his face caved in
Hogan's buddy and a genuinely bad worker, with plenty of awful gimmicks as mentioned. should be easy to see how that would do it! i'm in the camp that thinks he was approaching "decent" in early 1990 or thereabouts...he at least seemed more motivated. that disappeared for good after the accident though, and his 1993 comeback was especially brutal; Judy Bagwell's memory is correct on that promo, as he was going for sympathy but came off so poorly that someone in the crowd shouted "KILL YOURSELF!" I think he was fairly average inring with bouts of above average at points in 1989. I would say there are no points where he stands out as particularly bad in the sea of crap that was 1980s WWF. He absolutely sucked post injury. I think if people went back and actually watched the Dream Team or his 1989 run they would have a generally better opinion of him.
