Wrestling's Scummiest Moment Ever?
I don't think the fake Doinks are that bad. Everyone knows it's not the real one. Tom Brandi stealing the Patriot gimmick is pretty scummy though.

Bill Watts and wrestlers in bar fights
I do know on Orton, he appears on that one random episode ESPN has from 1981 and he appears on some of the early episodes that Micah Watts was selling. So I'm guessing he was just in and out. It looks like he held the Mississippi belt from August 81 until January 82.

He was the Mississippi Champion and there in 81.

question for the PTBN hosts
Totally agree with this. I think it takes about 8 episodes of a podcast to really build chemistry with someone. It's about knowing when the other person is going to talk and having a good feel for what they're going to say. And also being able to bounce jokes and ideas off of each other successfully.

The Islanders
There's a Superstars match from early 87 with the Harts that's literally the only good TV match I've seen from September to May on my watch through.

Legitimately great WWWF matches?
Yeah, that DeNucci/Arab match is bad ass.

Do People Believe this HHH Story?
If this happened I could also see it as him just fucking with the new guy too.

Legitimately great WWWF matches?
Oh yeah, that's right after the W got dropped. It was April or May I think.

Legitimately great WWWF matches?
It's not on Youtube. But I really enjoyed the Backlund vs. Hussein Arab match from 1979. Really good work and it's a match where you can see the Sheik still move well.

Between the Sheets #24 (December 29, 1986 - January 4, 1987) (Featuring Rob Naylor)
You guys needed some sexy music in the background when you were reading the wrestling lifestyle stuff.

Do People Believe this HHH Story?
No. Beware of stories that conform to your biases too closely because it probably isn't true

Legitimately great WWWF matches?
I like the Graham/Mascaras title match from MSG a lot.

Thoughts/Questions from watching wrestling on YouTube thread
You know you're in for a treat with those jobber vs. jobber matches.

Wrestling's Scummiest Moment Ever?
Okay, I have to defend Vince. Yes, he is a scumbag but he's also paid out of his own pocket to send countless guys to rehab over the years. That's more than a lot of promoters have ever done.

Wrestling's Scummiest Moment Ever?
You're leaving out the worst part of this. This was after Austin got in trouble for domestic abuse with Debra.

Wrestling's Scummiest Moment Ever?
That was my second thought. What about letting Mike Von Erich wrestle after the toxic shock syndrome?
-
Wrestling's Scummiest Moment Ever?
Yeah, the heart attack was my first thought. We could probably have a Fritz-off on scummy shit he pulled.
-
Wrestling's Scummiest Moment Ever?
That seems kind of low on the list of scummy things Fritz pulled.

Wrestling's Scummiest Moment Ever?
Vince continuing the PPV after Owen fell to his death is the answer here.

Damien Wayne
There's actually a Quinn/Wayne match from I believe 2006 in NWA Virginia. They wrestled after the Evil Empire broke up, Quinn was Masked Superstar II at the time. They did it as a really early prototype iPPV on that Superstation site that used to have NWA Anarchy TV. I don't know if you'd be able to track it down but I thought you would find it interesting.

Wrestling Fan New Years Resolutions For 2016
So I have my usual problem where I should be pushing forward on JCP but I just got nice shiny UWF TV and now I want to try and watch that. No wonder I never get anywhere on these viewing projects.
