Wrestling Fan New Years Resolutions For 2016
CWF Mid-Atlantic is good if you're going to be close enough. I watch it when they do TV and really enjoy the product. Chikara also hits I think Gibsonville twice a year or so.

Exile on Badstreet #21 (Bluegrass Brawlin" The History of SMW Part 2) (Featuring Good Ol' Will & Tim Noel)
I'm blaming you everyone involved when I'm watching SMW TV all over again next week instead of watching the piles of unwatched stuff I have in the basement.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
Bennett's entire career is based on companies wanting Maria for some reason. Seeing their act live, I don't get her appeal at all. I mean she's attractive but she doesn't do anything that makes you really react to her.

Wrestling Fan New Years Resolutions For 2016
I should really make myself go on TheCubsFan Youtube page and watch a lucha match a day.
-
Ring of Honor Wrestling
Yeah. I don't think that's any big loss.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
I was really into RoH until I went to see it live. I've been slowly losing interest the past few months. I'll go again when they come to Dayton but I agree with the people saying the product is getting stale.

Wrestling With Dice #4 GWF 2087 with Tom Filsinger
I know there are some Champions of the Galaxy players here. I had Tom on the show and we did a retrospective on the first set. We talk about the characters and the main storyline from the first set. https://soundcloud.com/pit-podcast-134632092/wrestling-with-dice-4-gwf-2087-with-tom-filsinger

Between the Sheets #22 (December 15-21, 1995) (Featuring Al Getz)
I was getting worried there would be a Christmas break. This will get me through the first half of work tomorrow.

Anybody watching ROH PPV?
It baffles me how you can job Moose and Castle on the same show.
-
Ring of Honor Wrestling
Yeah, I don't care for Maria but that's the only way Michael Bennett has any charisma.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
I would get rid of Truth Martini before I ever thought about getting rid of her.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
Veda is an obnoxious asshole and works well in that role when paired with the right person. She's really good live because you just want to stab her during the match. But you need her with someone that also has a personality. She was at her best with RD Evans.

Ken Patera 87-88 WWF run
The best part of his run was Gorilla taunting Heenan with the footage of the beatdown for weeks on Prime Time.

Most Understandable Heel Turns
He pissed him off during his trophy ceremony. Hogan kind of stole his thunder. I just watched the build a few months ago and my wife even commented without a word from me that Hogan came across badly on that segment.

[MMA] Fights with genuinely different styles?
Tank Abbott and Kimbo Slice would be street fighters.

Most Understandable Heel Turns
I like the hypocrisy of Wahoo during that angle too. How he makes all these complaints about Flair not giving him a title shot but then turns around and does the exact same thing to Magnum TA.
-
[MMA] Fights with genuinely different styles?
I still have nightmares about that awful fight.

[MMA] Fights with genuinely different styles?
I think it's UFC 4, if you get there parv... Just skip Shamrock/Gracie. No questions, hit skip, it's 36 minutes of Gracie in Shamrock's guard and you'll never watch another MMA fight again.
-
[MMA] Fights with genuinely different styles?
If you approach the UFC with a pro wrestling mindset in regards to faces, heels and card placement it's very compatible.

[MMA] Fights with genuinely different styles?
Rorion Gracie was part owner in the company. They carefully selected the Gracie that was going to fight in the UFC for maximum effect.
