Liger vs. Mysterio
Do you like high flyers in general? Parv is a heel guy so I'm guessing he isn't as a rule.

Puerto Rico Wrestling
Have you gone through some of the feud write-ups in this thread? I have done some for Hansen vs. Colon, Invader 3 vs. Chicky Starr and the Texas Hangmen's late 90-91 feud. Here and there. I did watch Chicky Starr and Hansen vs. Colon on Starr's talk show after listening to you talk about it. I'll do my homework here and go looking for it on Youtube.

More like YouTube. Maybe something with a lot of context available.

Insanely creative work...
I think Mecha Mummy is probably my favorite for creative things. The giant fist that he throws, the wings and the weakness to water all add to an awesome character.

Insanely creative work...
The hardcore title belt won itself in DDT as well.

Lucha Underground
I got Sling TV so I can actually watch this as it happens instead of tracking down individual episodes online.

Liger vs. Mysterio
I think you also got better stuff out of Liger when he would step out of NJPW. I enjoyed his DragonGate stuff in 2007 and he's always fun in CMLL when he pops up.

Liger vs. Mysterio
I don't hate him but I've been following New Japan regularly since 2002 so I'm more just bored by him.

The Pit Podcast
iTunes was refusing to see an episode in the feed for last week but I'm working on getting this into the store now. I'll post when it's there.

Liger vs. Mysterio
Have you seen his Super J Cup 95 match with Psicosis? I'm sure you'll say you have but I think he's excellent in that match.

The Pit Podcast
https://soundcloud.com/pit-podcast-134632092/pit-podcast-episode-2 This is a continuation of last week's episode. More talk with Shad about his wrestling career. Shad and I are going to be regulars. I've got a few other guys who are interested but we're trying to tie up times to record. We're looking at doing double topic recordings so we can meet less. It won't all be wrestling. We've talked about doing some comic book based stuff and some D&D stuff. But we have some other topics lined up. We're going to recap the first year of RoH and TNA as separate episodes.

Puerto Rico Wrestling
So if I wanted to dig in to Puerto Rico what would be the best place to start with it?

Dominic DeNucci and Baron Scicluna
It feels like I got exposed to a lot of Baron Scicluna matches when 24/7 used to be a thing. They had a real knack for finding MSG cards from the 70s and early 80s with him on there. The funny thing about you guys talking about the eternal struggle between DeNucci/Scicluna because it felt like those shows always had Scicluna vs. S.D. Jones on them. I think sometimes we as online fans are too quick to bash certain guys. I don't feel that way about the Baron. His matches are just dull as hell. I can't think of one good Scicluna match that I've ever seen. I once mistook a time limit draw between Jones/Scicluna for going into a coma. I did catch his match with Pat Patterson and didn't care for it. Now with DeNucci. I've seen less of him and very little of him when he wasn't past his prime. I can see the appeal of him even as an older guy that's mostly a JTTS. I did like his matches with the Iron Sheik and Hulk Hogan. They were good for what they are. He has a good fire to him. I like his punches a lot. I would like to see some of his WCW work and some of his tags from the mid 70s.

Virgil/Vincent
There was some moment during the nWo B team days where they convinced Virgil to challenge someone, I don't remember who. Virgil smartly talked Disco Inferno into doing it and added to smack him in the mouth. That was probably my favorite WCW moment for him.

Liger vs. Mysterio
Jushin Liger would get strong consideration from me as the best wrestler of all time. I think Rey would fall somewhere in the 10-15 range for me. What's amazing about Liger is how versatile he was. He was an amazing high flyer in his day but also adjusted as his skills started to decline. His charisma is off the charts even with his entire body covered. My wife's first exposure to him was at the last NXT special and she instantly saw how good he was. I've also wondered if his odd body type has helped him have such longevity in his career.

Vampiro WCW run
I really liked the Dead Pool for the short time it was together. Vampiro and Raven would have been an interesting tag team at the time.

Johnny B Badd / Marc Mero... Time to Revisit his Career
In my experience, Foley's opinions generally suck when it comes to other workers. His books were entertaining but I think his biases shine through too much. Badd is one of the guys that I'm most interested in getting to as my WCW/NWA watching progresses. I'll get there some day.

ROH ASE 7 PPV
It sounded like someone had a talk with Kelly and Corino for Castle's last TV match.
