Your Wrestling Pet Peeves/Utter Hatreds
I just looked at a picture. HHH/Gunn were and Pac/Dogg were not.

I liked their Nation parody. I have no use of for them past that.

G-1 Climax 25 Discussion
I could see him getting an upset over Nakamura and then Nakamura having to go all out against Okada to try and stay in the tournament.

I'm late to the party on these but digging the new heel Naito. I thought his match with Styles was really good. It's amazing how different a worker Styles has become since leaving TNA. He's just awesome.

Weirder career than Johnny Ace?
Mike Shaw. One shitty gimmick after another but got a run pretty much everywhere in North America.

I seem to remember him getting pissed at jobbers and stiffing them several times with the Rockers.

What's wrong with current WWE?
I feel like New Japan doesn't do anything special with how they produce their shows but it feels really fresh with the angles they take for entrances and the graphics. I don't think it would take much effort to change the look and feel of the TV. Just a little creativity.

I think the Rock had a lot to do with how over he was in the summer.

I got a look at Nagata/Ishii tonight. I liked the match quite a bit. Them just deciding to beat the shit out of each other was a good choice. I think Ishii's at his best when it's just a stiff battle. I liked Nagata's selling of the rib damage throughout the match. I think my favorite part was when Ishii couldn't get Nagata up for a suplex and just said fuck this and kicked him in the head.

In the context of the TV, they're amazing. You sit through hours of bad matches and suddenly you're getting Koko B. Ware vs. Nikolai Volkoff in a fast paced 5 minute match. It feels like the greatest thing ever.

What are you watching?
You really live for those Saturday Night Main Events watching WWF TV. I'm now into March and the build for Wrestlemania is just superb. I think the TV is a little dull but they have me excited to watch an event that I've seen several times before.

I would have to watch to see if Chyna was more over or not. I think Billy Gunn might have been less over but I don't think there's any way to know for sure. If you watch a time line of all the WWF Title changes, his first two or three wins got absolute crickets. He was nothing until Foley absolutely made him.

I think we discussed this a long time ago but I think you could argue he was less over than X-Pac and Road Dogg in DC.

What's wrong with current WWE?
I would be curious to see how many fans heel Cole chased away from the product for good. I know I got the wrestling itch right in the middle of that and lasted 5 minutes before tuning out again.

Exile on Badstreet #10 (The Battles of Backlund)
I listened to this at work today and a tremendous episode. It was really interesting to have Backlund's title reign broken down by opponents with some gates thrown in.

What's wrong with current WWE?
They beat it out of him. They mocked him when he was younger for studying wrestling and wanting to learn about it.

Top 5 Living WWF Hulkamania era Wrestlers?
I was struggling with that as the Bushwhackers vs. Demolition was a hard choice. Demolition were huge at the absolute peak of their run. But the Bushwhackers are fondly remembered and people who weren't alive for their run still do the arm thing.
