He was jobbing in smaller indies a lot. Notably Trevor Lee in PWG. He was also wrestling women in competitive matches. They didn't like that he wasn't protecting the belt at all. He also was making noise that he was going to try out for baseball. This was after the fact but he also screwed up his visa and couldn't come into the country for 90 days.

I think the Vaudevillians are by far the best rag team they have in NXT. They do all the little things you want a heel team to do. They cut off the ring really well. They know how to milk those hot tag hope spots to the absolute max. And they know how to get crowds that want to cheer them to boo. They're a perfect undercard tag team.

I know some people here hate him but Johnny Gargano. I remember seeing him when he was 18 or 19 wrestling for Cleveland All Pro Wrestling. You could see the potential instantly. Magnum TA caught on really quick. I also thought Hiroshi Tanahashi was the future ace for New Japan the first time I ever saw him in a match in 2000. Vader was amazing as the Baby Bull Leon White. He would bust out some crazy athletic move almost every match. I enjoyed a lot of his AWA matches.

They've spent years screwing that stuff up and blaming it on someone else.

They can do better than being a couple of blank slates though.

I don't get Blake and Murphy at all. Sometimes you see something in a guy live that doesn't come across on TV. But even there they are just blank slates. The last show had Mojo Rawley (got booed horribly) and Zack Ryder challenging for the belts. That match was all Mojo and Ryder.

Thinking about it more. There could be some real potential to a Balor/Swagger feud. That seems like a ready made feud for Swagger to work.

And I doubt Moose wins it on his first try. RoH usually jobs a guy a few times too many in title matches before giving them the big win.

They could also run Lethal/ACH as a B level feud for TV and the house show circuit but not use that as a PPV main event.

They haven't really done many short term transitional champions. Elgin's reign was only short because he fucked up. I think Lethal will have the belt at least until Final Battle. They've kind of been breaking from the norm the last year or so. Lethal isn't like what they usually book on top but they've been willing to try some new things. I think Lethal makes a lot of sense for them right now. He's more of a known name that might snag them some new fans on Destination America.

Oh yeah. I forgot he was going to suck it up in the G1 this year.

Why protect Elgin in that situation? It's not like you're ever going to put the World Title on him again.

I feel the same way. It might not be a classic match but I'm never disappointed after a Bucks match.

Does anyone see anything in Blake and Murphy? I don't see anything in either guy.

I tried to look for Abby's lawsuit but could only find the Hep C lawsuit he lost.

They could always bring someone down from the main roster as well. They had good results doing that with Tyson Kidd.

I don't like his character or what I've seen of him in NXT. How long is KENTA out for? When he gets back that's a no brainer feud for Balor. Johnny Gargano is getting a try out. They could probably propel him up the card fairly quickly.

They would always go with an underwhelming Balor/Crowe feud for a month or two.

I liked the six sided ring. He's going to have to do a lot better than running main events of the Bullet Club vs. the New Heavenly Bodies if he wants to draw better than a few hundred people.

I remember I got a bunch of the DVDs from Netflix and watched them. I found it enjoyable but I honestly can't remember any of the matches really standing out to me.

Final Battle 2013. Sorry, I meant strap match. This made it to TV as well. I think it was on the first episode of TV in 2014.

Are there any good matches for Mil Mascaras outside of the Destroyer matches? Is he better in the lucha libre style?
