WWE signs Dalip Singh
Steven Richards of course. Will probably also be the first guy hurt by Singh too.

What are you watching?
I was watching something with Dustin Rhodes earlier. He's really grown on me since his BookDust run. It's a shame that he got so overshadowed by Goldust and how bland he is without it.

Royal Rumble SD World Title Match
Why are they bothering to push Mark Henry when that awful contract is coming to an end this year. They can't seriously be thinking about keeping him can they?

What are you watching?
Are there really people that think HHH didn't intentionally bury Steiner in that match? It's also sad to see how badly they dropped the ball with Benoit after the standing ovation he got. It seems they had him on the shows as little as possible to get his heat down.

Just a best of Impact.

Wrestling thoughts that probably don't deserve
Heh, I'm so nearsighted that I could sit that close to the tv without my glasses and still not be able to figure out what any of the blobs on the tv are. I messed up on the first Impact unfortunately. The DVR was getting ready to record something and a little flashing clock appears at the bottom of the screen for like a minute of Abyss squashing Sabin. Not a big deal though, I'll just have to make sure I'm not recording when the DVR is close to recording something. If this goes well I might do a best of 2006 comp at the end of the year.

My Impact on DVD project is going really well so far. The DVR makes it extremely easy to get rid of the commercials. It looks great on DVD though I wait until I see it on the big screen before totally judging.

Just finished with Impact. I liked the Jackie Gayda swerve were they had you thinking it was going to be some love thing but it ended up being about Jarrett backing out of a promise and her trying to blackmail him now. Also found Styles/Storm to be a pretty solid and fun match. It's also nice to see Rhino motivated again.

Wrestling thoughts that probably don't deserve
So I guess this guy hates old school wrestling considering new guys would go for years sometimes without losing a match in a new territory. EDIT: Regarding Joe. I was thinking the other day that TNA should just import a New Japan junior for every PPV and have Joe just demolish them. That way you don't have to constantly build up a new guy only for Joe to tear him apart and you can easily get a 6-8 month reign out of that.

What are you watching?
It picks up pretty nicely after the first round of matches. Flair/Mutoh start off the second tape with a really good match with Mutoh bleeding like crazy the whole match. The final is probably top 5 for NJPW heavyweight matches.

Thoughts on the following (polarizing) wrestlers
Brock had about the best 4 minute match I've ever seen with Manabu Nakinishi a few weeks ago in Japan.

Thoughts on the following (polarizing) wrestlers
I think Brock Lesnar was doing just about everything better in the ring than Angle was by the end of his first year on the main roster. I think their series was highly overrated though as Angle really drug things down a few notches. Thier iron man match was awful but then what would you expect with Angle in the ring that long.

WON Notes
Zach Arnold interviewed Joe and he made it pretty clear that he's not terribly interested in going to the WWF.

Here's the TNA press release on the Daniels DVD:

WON Notes
Panda will probably hang around as long as they have a national tv deal. The DVDs they released did pretty good. The original 4 all found their way into the top 25 sports releases and the Styles and X Division ones were in the top 10 for a few weeks. I think a steady stream of 2-3 DVDs a month would do them a world of good. There's also foreign tv deals to take in. They're supposedly huge in India and did really good touring there in the fall. If they could do a tour there maybe twice a year and go to Australia on the way back they could make some huge gates. I think if they could consistenly draw 50k on buyrates they'd be set.

WON Notes
Morphoplex pays something like 200k a month for those ads on TNA shows. At this point though TNA isn't doing so horrible financial wise. They're still losing money but I imagine they've cut losses down a lot and aren't bleeding money like they were earlier in the year. If they could keep a steady stream of DVDs hitting national retailers I could see them start to make money by the end of next year.

WON Notes
Because X Division guys wouldn't make sense in terms of storyline. Jarrett got his little army together due to paranoia over the new guys taking their spots. Hence they made the most sense. Plus if they want to go with wargames at some point it makes more sense to have brawlers than flyers.

WON Notes
I think TNA would be better served with a Television Title that has a 10 minute time limit.

It's also rumored that New Japan is sending Hiroshi Tanahashi to face AJ Styles at Final Resolution.

Smackdown Spoiler
It's hard to say. They have used being a rapist to try and garner face heat before.

I don't know. Kane/Lita and Katie Vick are probably worse.

I'm not posting the whole thing but there's a video package for an inring return for Fit Finley. So who's the first to complain about him working too stiff?

It's actually not confirmed that Haas is going back yet.

WWE preparing to ruin more OVW talent
I'm not sure. I'd have to go through all of the matches and look. He's won most of his matches by cheap methods. Though he has gone for the Pepsi Plunge and Anaconda Vice in various matches.
