Yeah, he could easily ask more than what Lanny Poffo makes for a date.

WO News and Notes
Wow, the Missing Link is still wrestling. I saw good old Demolition Ax works for NWA: Ohio from time to time as well.

Slaughter's Iraq thing was no different than having evil Russians in your federation. It was a cartoon for the most part. Tonight's thing just doesn't serve a purpose. It's just Vince begging for some media attention.

I think the worst part about that is I really have to think about if it's the worst thing they've ever done. That's at least second on the list of worst things all time. Lita's rape thing from last summer is probably no.1 on the list. Though I have a feeling that Guerrero/Mysterio is going to be going in a really bad place too. Though I rank it pretty bad right now involving his "son" like that with all the recent kidnappings going on.

I didn't make it to the end of the show. I was bored out of my mind and gave up around 9:20 or so. But I'm not surprised. This is the kind of bullshit they've been doing for the last few years.

I doubt it's to help TNA. I think this is directly related to the fact that they'll be making next to nothing off their tv shows when they move to USA. They'll be getting no ad revenue and a lot less money from the network. I think this is more of a sign that we're heading into some extremely lean years for the WWF.

The first Diva slut contestant is gone as Joy Giovanni joins the list.

Brock Lesner On his way back to the WWE
I would laugh if he just walked in there, tore the contract up and walked out.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Danny Basham getting the boot either but knowing the WWF they'll fire the much more talented Doug.

Grenier has to be the next guy. There's no way he survives this kind of a purge.

Kenzo Suzuki finally got the axe.

The Jannetty thing is textbook WWF. They get the fans excited about someone and then never use him again. I predicted that this would happen when he signed the contract.

Meltz is saying there might be 8 to 10 more cuts coming.

I think Charlie Haas has a lot of upside. All Japan will probably turn Matt Morgan into a monster like they did with Jamal.

I've noticed every week that I've seen Viscera on Raw you could hear the crickets chirping outside the arena. But I've been saying for years that the only person the WWF is meant to entertain is Vince. The plus to these firings is the WWF is basically giving someone with deep pockets a chance to put together a big competitor to them.

I don't understand why they'd can Haas. He was just getting over in a tag team with Bob Holly but they keep Heidenreich, the HeartThrobs and Viscera?

Yep, they just appeared on the list a few minutes ago.

Wow, the WWF has to be hurting really bad. This is close to 30 guys they've released in under a year. I've never seen such massive roster cutbacks.

Fourth of July RAW thread
I completely saw the Michaels heel turn coming for some reason. But they could really be using Hogan better than having him feud with Michaels or Angle.
