The Cancellation of Jim Cornette
I mean it's a single line in a show. Sometimes you are just tying to catch umms and coughs and the context of the words aren't registering in your brain. And you are also dealing with video. It's a long and tedious process. I am also guessing if it's not Lagana doing it, it's probably interns or inexperienced people they are getting on the cheap. Lagana should be double checking the final product though.

NWA Powerrr
I am betting it was Lagana. Corgan might never have even heard it. Of course I did a podcast for NWA Powerrr on Monday and this happened between recording and airing. So yay, recording extra bits for the start of the show.

The Cancellation of Jim Cornette
You could just toss a disclaimer on there and maybe have Corgan do a brief little announcement at the beginning of the shows. I think you can get around that easily, they just need to go through the last 2 episodes and make sure there isn't anything in there.

NWA Powerrr
No, I think he will double down. I think at this point he's shown a pattern of attention seeking behavior. I think this was just a dumb comment he made but I think his whole Cult of Cornette shit falls apart if he actually shows accountability for something he said. Honestly in his mind he probably thinks getting fired would make his podcasts bigger.

I checked the Geneva Conventions and you are due for a Bryan Adams apology...

I think most of the talent worked for them. I think the Wild Cards were their only real miss. Eddie Kingston and Ricky Starks need bigger pushes.

NWA Powerrr
I agree, I like the shorter matches but I do feel like some of the Power episodes need a little more inring action. I generally have enjoyed the shows and will get the PPV but I think they need to tweak things. I think they get a little too talky sometimes.

The Cancellation of Jim Cornette
I am not defending them but I have edited podcasts, marked something in my notes to delete, posted it and realized I left it in or forgot to add the opening. Now granted, I do that shit for free and am not a professional.

The Cancellation of Jim Cornette
I think this is what happens when your character starts playing you.

The Cancellation of Jim Cornette
I think he's gotten a little too deep into the gimmick.

NWA Powerrr
Wow, they really should have caught that. That could kill the promotion dead. Corny has really been playing with fire lately with some things he's been saying and I think this one is going to bite his ass or the NWA's.

All Elite Wrestling
The RKO meme is more entertaining than anything he has ever done.

NWA Powerrr
He was Impact Champion probably around the time they were having these discussions. All three guys would have been guys they leaned heavily on when they were running Impact.
-
NWA Powerrr
I'm sure there is heavier context to it then that.

NWA Powerrr
I am not 100% sure where they go with Tim Storm. A heel turn seems likely but I could see him stare into the abyss at the PPV and then do the right thing.

NWA Powerrr
So my theory is. We get Eli Drake vs. Nick Aldis at the PPV. Kamille and Tim Storm turn on Aldis and help Drake win the title.
-
NWA Powerrr
I agree on Eddie Kingston. I would say he's kind of wasted in a tag team. I think he should be mixing it up with Aldis, Storm, Drake and those guys. I don't hate the Wild Cards but they really aren't getting promo time and they just feel kind of there. The Outlaws, RNR and Dawsons are all more interesting.

NWA Powerrr
I really wish they should just shelve the women for now. It's a weekly low point for the show and they could better use that time for something that could be good. I might take a bite on the PPV if they get some matches announced and I can pre-order it for the lower price. I also like the pins they are selling of the title belts.

AEW Full Gear
I love the idea of Moxley staying up all night Friday, drinking beer, smoking weed and making a bunch of Wile E Coyote-esque traps for his match with Omega.

Rollins all over Raw and Corbin all over Smackdown. Truly this is hell.

The Wednesday Night War
That's been my thought the last few weeks. The last 6 weeks of TV just tells me there are far fewer wrestling fans out there than we thought. I have said on here before, the wrestling industry is starting to look like the comic book industry. A shrinking fanbase getting more and more burnt out on endless amounts of meaningless content.

Jinder's problem was that he was a lower card guy that suddenly got the title. He just wasn't good enough to fill in main event length matches. He had all the trappings of a good heel act though. Minions that took crazy bumps, great entrance and a willingness to look like a chump for the faces.

Yeah. Seth has a fundamental misunderstanding of how wrestling works. Diesel just wasn't a great worker but he understood how it was supposed to work.
