I've thought something has been up since Ted Dibiase got #30 in 1989.

It's kind of interesting to see people that have kind of become fans in the last decade and mostly watching WWE getting exposed to their first bloodbath of a match like this.

I thought the lack of blood really hurt Gargano/Ciampa last year. Those matches were just screaming for blood.

I hope they have a streaming option for the next couple of shows. I would pay $10-$15 for some of the house shows if there are interesting matches. Also been mulling over some of the shirts. I think I am going to get a normal AEW logo one and an AEW is Jericho shirt.

I guess I just don't get that. The second he said he wasn't staying I knew he was a done deal for AEW. If he hadn't gone WWE he would have been a Bullet Club guy. I guess I might have overestimated it but it just felt obvious he wanted out of WWE and he wanted to take his chances with the Elite guys.

You would just call them geeks anyway so why do you care?

I think people need to realize that this is the first time running a promotion of this size for everyone and there are going to be growing pains. I thought it was a super polished show considering it was a debut show for a new promotion.

On the rewatch. I love shocked Jericho saying "what are you doing here?" to Moxley. It was also nice not having the announcers ruin it.

Event shirts never do much for me and I didn't like some of those. There were a couple that were okay but those more hand the show logo on it. My wife liked the Britt Baker one and the Sammy Guevara panda one. The Moxley shirt is just too busy to me.

I liked what they did with Bret a lot. He gets shown so much reverence in wrestling that it really set MJF apart that he went after Bret without mercy.

I'm looking at AEW shirts this morning. WWE could learn a lot from these shirts. I want to buy like 6 of them. My wife even looked over my shoulder and wanted a couple. The shirts are great and I would wear a lot of these in public unlike what WWE usually produces.

Jericho reigned things in because he was using some of his WWE character instead of his pschyopath New Japan character. It's like they did a toned down version of the match because Jericho didn't want to go so far out there with his character. I still enjoyed it. But it was the difference of a ***1/2 match and a ****1/2 match.

What I don't get with the whole Moxley WWE exit. They had to have known he was more than likely going to AEW. Why did they give him all that TV time and a Shield farewell tour as free advertising for this?

Bret Hart fell off the stage after his segment.

Fantastic show overall. If they keep even half of that quality for their shows, they are going to be an amazing promotion to watch.

I like how he attacked Jericho but then this veered off into him being Omega's next opponent.

My biggest complaint has been that the camera work has been too WWE. They need to work on that.

It was good but I was so worn out from Cody/Dustin.

It was kind of a mix between a UFC belt and the IWGP Title belt. I liked what I saw of it.

AAA has the shittiest belts.

These last two matches could honestly be whatever and this show would still be a massive hit in my eyes.

Bret is loving the shots being fired here.
