NXT TakeOver Chicago II
Well that ending was absolutely stupid.

NXT TakeOver Chicago II
Yes because a blood feud with no blood really works

NXT TakeOver Chicago II
Gargano should have flying elbow dropped him on the stretcher.
-
NXT TakeOver Chicago II
It felt hollow without blood to me.

NXT TakeOver Chicago II
It's just missing some element to me.

NXT TakeOver Chicago II
This lost me about 5 minutes ago...

NXT TakeOver Chicago II
The announcers selling the Gargano flurries as him finally getting revenge is fucking stupid when he won the last match.
-
NXT TakeOver Chicago II
Yeah, I was worried they shouldn't have done this and it isn't living up to the previous match. And the lack of blood is hurting this.
-
NXT TakeOver Chicago II
The lack of color so far is really detracting from this.

NXT TakeOver Chicago II
They murdered Percy, this match wins already.

NXT TakeOver Chicago II
I hate O'Reilly and his worked MMA shit. Always have and I think I always will. I'm cool with Cole and Strong though.

NXT TakeOver Chicago II
I shudder to think how badly they are going to fuck up Dream on the main roster.

The opener was a miss for me.

Guys who were with the company far longer than you remember
Ivan Koloff as a face in 1989 NWA was a surprise.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
There's a couple of programs I want to buy where people circled who won and left notes on it. The WWWF programs are kind of lame compared to the NWA ones.

Quite a bit out here actually. There's a lot of old programs out there as well. It seems a lot of it can be purchased for $5-15 depending on the issue but most people with best offer will take less. I'm trying to find the Lawler/Andre issue of The Wrestler with the headline "The Night a Midget Beat Andre The Giant."

I don't know about Slater but I remember seeing Valentine, Buck and Pittman on the weekend shows well into the summer of 1997.

So I've started buying old Apter mags off of eBay. Mostly issues of The Wrestler from the 1970s. I kind of just go by if the cover is cool or not.

WWE TV 06/11 - 06/17 IHOB is Bloods for life
Yeah. I think all you can do in today's WWE is keep the ship stable. Even without the current climate, keeping business stable is an underrated trait for main eventers.

WWE TV 06/11 - 06/17 IHOB is Bloods for life
I mean he could main event if they stop with the extended promos every show. Rollins would need to talk less than they want their top guys to talk. If you can protect Rollins there, I think he has a good chance.

WWE TV 06/11 - 06/17 IHOB is Bloods for life
I think Rollins could main event again if they were willing to change how they do things with the main event. If they want him to do extended opening segments is where he would get in trouble. I think he can work if they are willing to adjust the presentation to his strengths.

Current New Japan
I fucking love New Japan Jericho. He is off the charts in this match and it's amazing.

Current New Japan
I don't remember now but in the moment I remember where the back selling came from. He started doing it and I was like oh yeah that happened here.

UFC 203: Because CM Punk is finally fighting
I think Bix and Zellner mentioned it on Between the Sheets but I agree with them that the crazy travel schedule from early expansion era didn't help matters either.

I've still got the 3 main matches to go but I have loved this card so far. I thought the Bucks vs. Sanada/Evil match was amazing. Nick selling that ankle was top notch and I love that he was forced to still attack with it and paid the price everytime. Matt trying to talk him through spots and double teams and it blowing up in their faces was great. It felt like they were fighting a hopeless battle and managed to pull a win out of their ass. I think it's a match that every Bucks hater should watch as it will open their eyes to what they are capable of.
