WWE TV - 6/17 - 6/21 - Owned By A Contraction. Again.
This wouldn’t happen if apostrophes didn’t exist.
-
WWE TV - 6/17 - 6/21 - Castle? Don’t You Mean Rook?
Gonna be funny to see Drew get owned again by Punk so soon, but at least we’ll have him tweeting through it.
-
AEW TV 6/12-6/15 Have you sat under the Learning Tree yet?
Yeah, it looked improvised because he was trying to go into his power bomb. Impressive stuff.
-
AEW TV 6/5 - 6/8 - Swerve Is For The Seniors
Six months ago, he was threatening the baby of a top babyface, and now he’s dancing with old folks in the front row. What a turnaround.
-
Is Impact* the best wrestling promotion in history? *(Now TNA again, 2024)
“That’s former NXT Champion Nic Nemeth!” Gonna be hilarious.
-
AEW TV - 5/29 - 6/1 - Darby Started The Fire
I missed the Owen Cup thing, but yeah, this seems like booking yourself into a corner. Okada doesn’t really hit as hard given they seem to be setting up another Kenny match.
-
AEW TV - 5/29 - 6/1 - Darby Started The Fire
I think Swerve wins dipping into the dark side a bit given how big a threat Ospreay is, which sets up the return at Wembley.
-
AEW TV - 5/29 - 6/1 - Darby Started The Fire
Say what you will about DoN but a dude literally got lit on fire and it basically worked, pretty insane. Have to say tonight’s Dynamite lineup isn’t…well…lighting me…on fire. Good night, everyone!
-
AEW Double or Nothing 2024 - Something Something Stays In Vegas
A show that has weeble wobbled its way to a decent build. I know there will be good payoffs in the matches, but the cohesion of the entire company right now leaves a lot to be desired.
-
AEW TV - 5/22 - 5/25 - Once Upon A Time In Darbywood
“You’re Darby Fuckin’ Allin. And don’t you forget it.” Missed Darby in the Fourteen Fists of McCluskey but man, dude can wield a flamethrower.

Dark Side of the Ring
Someone hasn’t read the DVDVR Sleaze Thread.
-
AEW TV 5/8-5/11 Team Elite vs Team AEW
I didn’t think Copeland/O’Reilly was gonna be that great but they surprised all my expectations. Great stuff.
-
Best YouTube & Dailymotion Channels
Yeah, there’s a ton on there that has my attention.
-
AEW TV - 5/1 - 5/4 - Insert May Day Joke Here
Because Mal isn’t one for doing jobs and is waiting for that contract to run out before another run in Stamford?
-
AEW TV - 5/1 - 5/4 - Insert May Day Joke Here
Seriously, though, they sure seem rudderless as all hell after that angle.
-
AEW TV - 4/24 - 4/27 - Prince Nana About To Kill Em
I have issues with surveys like that because people are gonna see that as revelatory but there’s too much inherent bias in how the survey was done that it doesn’t really help anything.
-
WWE TV 4/29/-5/3 Its getting drafty in here
Man, going so quick to GUNTHER/Ilja is a choice
-
WWE TV 04/22 - 04/28 X-Men 97 rocks
Ilja and Trick doing the Bryan/Will face off spot literally days later was hilarious.
-
AEW TV - 4/24 - 4/27 - Prince Nana About To Kill Em
The dance tonight is gonna be an all timer.
-
WWE TV 04/22 - 04/28 X-Men 97 rocks
Trev vs. Bryan is gonna rule so hard. That’s a weird one given you’d think Paul had a way to use him better.
-
WWE TV 04/22 - 04/28 X-Men 97 rocks
Gio is probably on the way out too, methinks. They want to give Kaiser a shot on his own and Big G is obviously SD! bound to be a Cody foil at some point, so I imagine he will be given his walking papers, sadly. A weird show that was very shtick-filled based on what I was able to see.

AEW Dynasty - 4/21/24 - RIP John Forsythe
There were a couple of moments from Ospreay I wasn’t a fan of in the match but they were mainly nitpicking the totality. The finish is fine, especially given how Bryan mentioned the need for the TD ‘91 to be done at all as an “criticism” of Ospreay and the brainbuster on the ramp the night before. Played into it well. I’ll catch up on the rest of the show, but my guess is that this match will be widely regarded as Ospreay’s official arrival as the wrestler of his generation on a wider scale, and another feather in Bryan’s cap, but the true sickos will look back at Arena Mexico a few weeks prior as the best match of the month for him. I’m just happy I got to see a Death Lake Driver again. Mima Shimoda the goddess.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Because I’m tired and posted to the wrong thread. Yay
