"Ravishing" Rick Rude
I'd like to point out the first guy that was nominated for this thing was Meng.

"Ravishing" Rick Rude
It's all relative. There's guys who work on the lower mid-card who do good enough stuff that it's tough to not consider them, and then there's guys who work at the top of the card, work a completely different style and it still works. If you're looking for a specific style of work, there's going to be a smorgasbord of wrestlers that are going to be very similar and card placement won't mean a damn thing.

WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, & Chairs
Part of me thinks after Thursday that the main roster is going to want some of their shine back and will work their ass off, but I think the big problem is that with them being locked in with their writing, nobody is gonna change anything major right now. It's akin to firing a coach more than halfway through a season. If anything, they should feel the need to prove themselves en lieu of the booking, but I'm not sure that'll hapoen.

Matt Sydal
He's one of the best bumpers I've seen. Him rag dolling for everyone when he was in ECW was like watching a completely different guy than the guy I saw on the indy circuit, and he had himself some good moments there, too. I'm not sure he has enough to put him on a list like this, but I'll consider him one of the better indy guys..

NXT Revolution... live as it happens
Everything I hoped for and more. Top to bottom it's the best show WWE produced all year long. Owens coming in as a top-level guy right off the bat is what I was hoping for, and he can definitely carry a program with Zayn. The theory about how Triple H is behind all this and deciding to make this his own brand as opposed to a developmental brand might start to pay off because even back when NXT was en vogue, their roster was never this stacked. For guys where you thought there would be overkill, they've toned it down a ton. I haven't regularly tuned in to Raw or SmackDown! for a good couple months now and it's because it really doesn't hold a candle to what NXT is doing on a regular basis. Fantastic stuff. Haven't been this amped about wrestling in a while.

NXT Revolution... live as it happens
So Owens is actually gonna wrestle tonight? Awesome.

NXT Revolution... live as it happens
Corey Graves retires but is now an announcer.

Current WWE
There normally is. I'll tell you this: I can't even fathom how NXT exists considering the gap there is between how its produced compared to RAW and SmackDown! It boggles my mind.

Pro-Wrestling Super Show
A lot of that was on my end. I won't use that headset/mic again. Also, this is the film we talked about with Andre from 1968: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061454/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_17

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
Dailymotion is now on Apple TV, making me think they'll start rolling apps out for everything here relatively soon.

'Dr. Death' Steve Williams
8/31/93 vs. Kobashi4/16/94 vs. Kawada 7/28/94 vs. Misawa 9/3/94 vs. Kobashi That's a good start for now considering I'm on my phone and it's off the top of my head. The final MWC tag title defense against Misawa/Kawda where they drop the belts is really good, forgot the date. I want to say something like January of 1993.

'Dr. Death' Steve Williams
Doc will make my list, but more as a personal favorite than someone whose body of work lines up against the all-time greats. He had a tremendous run in 94 and had some really neat tags earlier in the decade for AJPW, but his US stuff leaves a lot to be desired, sadly. He did have some good stuff in UWF, I'll give him that. He'll be in the bottom part of my list.

CM Punk on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling
Next thing you know, someone's gonna tell me that Jimmy Del Ray wasn't actually a gigolo. I fear my innocence is completely lost. (RIP, Jimmy.)

[1995-03-26-AJW-Wrestling Queendom: Victory] Bull Nakano vs Kyoko Inoue
I remember really liking this match the first time around because it seemed like Bull wanted to show she still had it and she really put on a hell of a performance. This is also one of the few Kyoko singles matches I really like, too. I'm not sure if it was better than the main, but it's a very good match.

Vince McMahon on Stone Cold Podcast
That being said, Vince dropping the "I own this thing. We're going on for 15 more minutes." line was legitimately incredible.
-
Vince McMahon on Stone Cold Podcast
Obviously, this was going to be full of softballs, but at the same time, it was at least entertaining. Anyone looking for Austin to dig in deep and get the tough answers out of Vince was going to be sorely mistaken in the first place.
-
WWE Network... It's Here
Okay, Vince basically waving the magic wand and saying this is gonna go on for 15 more minutes is the TV moment of the year.
-
WWE Network... It's Here
Naylor said something similar a few minutes ago. That's too bad.

CM Punk on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling
There's no "using" of anyone in the situation. Punk clearly stated he'd rather talk to a friend than an interviewer. The calculation came on Punk wanting to tell his side of the story. He's even stopped in on Colt's podcast a couple times since leaving just to shoot the shit. They're all in the business together, but this idea that this was a "business first"-type of interview is hilarious to me. If it was about what was best for the CM Punk name or what have you, there's way larger platforms than Colt's he could have done it on.
