Did WWE stop any chance of a competitor by accident with bad booking?
In a world where something like Storage Wars became a huge hit, I don't know if you actually need that much "name" talent to make a promotion work.

WWE Network... It's Here
That's a more fair assessment of Arn. It struck me though that he argued that guys working his schedule got injured less when he specifically retired due to injury.

I think Flair talked the least in the Table for 3 episode. Anderson was the bitter old man, Tully came off the best imo.

Your Wrestling Guilty Pleasure
I'd like to think I'm a better person now, but scantily clad women are probably in the discussion from my teenage years.

WWE Network... It's Here
"I don't care how many championships your LinkedIn account says you won!" was a highlight for me.

RIP Chyna
This one sucks. I always got the vibe that Chyna was a wholly decent person who was overwhelmed by life.

Trainwrecks. Example: the glorious meeting between Antonio Inoki and the Great Antonio. My favorite Inoki match by far. https://youtu.be/9lXAGZtMxU8

RIP Blackjack Mulligan
Thanks for this. Yes, great match. Perfect slow build, something that starts as an innocuous tag match and builds into something special.

Vince told Backlund he was going to have a 1 year run as champ after winning the belt in 1994...
Check out MSG cards in the '70s. Florida guys are all over those cards. Mike Graham, Steve Keirn, Mr. Sato and Mr. Saito, etc. There was an extraordinary amount of talent sharing during that period.

Horror stories in women's wrestling history
Girls like Sasha aren't in a position to make waves. She's not in any position to know anyway, I doubt she personally knew Moolah. I thought more would come out when Moolah (and Mae Young) passed, but not really. I would note though that with WWE claiming the "first" women's championship at Wrestlemania, they don't seem to be in any hurry to heap additional praise on Moolah.

RIP Blackjack Mulligan
http://www.wwe.com/article/blackjack-mulligan-passes-away I know most of his career didn't make video, but are there any really good matches of his available?

Best Tag Team Names?
Second City Saints is a good name.

Best Tag Team Names?
They would've been the American Males but that was taken.

Best Tag Team Names?
If I were an Indy promoter I'd run with the British Bullfrogs. Two guys who sound like '50s radio jockeys.

Wrestle Mania 32... Live As It Happens
Beyond the scope of the booking, the sheer running time of wrestlemania is becoming a problem. A wrestling card works best generally at about 2 1/2 hours. Like a movie, if you're running way over time it takes extra effort to keep the audience engaged. Last night's wrestlemania including pre show ran over six hours. That's an insane amount of time to keep all but your most hardcore fans engaged. Combine that with a crowd of 85,000 or so, and watching a show live becomes an utter chore. It's difficult even to present great booking under those circumstances.

Wrestle Mania 32... Live As It Happens
He's just flat out embarrassed. He managed to put out a card worse than his father ever managed. And that's saying something. At least Showdown At Shea '72 wasn't nearly seven hours long.

Wrestle Mania 32... Live As It Happens
WWE could just hire Keenan Michael-Key and save themselves a lot of money.

Mike Awesome powerbombing one of the ICP off a bus is worth at least four stars by itself.

Not quite under the radar, but just got the kindle version of Bill Apter's book for $4.99.

Hulk Hogan vs. Gawker Lawsuit
For a case of this nature to reach the Supreme Court it has to go through a lower court first. Should it move through the appeal process as we expect, this may well become a Supreme Court case eventually.

Hulk Hogan vs. Gawker Lawsuit
The trial was a fiasco of sorts. But when a website boasts that they're going to defy a judge's court order based on their own interpretation of the first amendment (see link below), they can't be surprised when it comes back to bite them in the ass. http://gawker.com/a-judge-told-us-to-take-down-our-hulk-hogan-sex-tape-po-481328088

Babyfaces insulting foreign countries in WWE.
It's a low risk, high reward action. What do they have to lose by apologizing?
