If Vince’s intent is indeed selling the company, that means he’s likely to pursue cutting expenses.

The Baseball Hall of Fame has a committee of sixteen that votes in Hall of Famers each year. To have a pool of 94-97 voting isn't that small. Lucha voters agreeing on candidates is probably a function of their nominees being the smallest pool, unlike historical which is completely unwieldly. I've seen people dumping on the voters for not inducting Rocca/Perez. Part of the blame needs to take into account that the ballot is just a convoluted mess. The MLB Hall of Fame ballot sent to the writers has 28 candidates listed. The Observer ballot has [b]105[/b] candidates! I don't have an issue with the voter pool but I would blow up the process and start over.

Regal has said as much on the podcast. The strength of Regal is that he was better at character work than probably 90% of the better technical wrestlers.

Regal made comments on the podcast months ago about young wrestlers asking for advice. He said something to the effect of don't blow smoke up my ass and pretend you're interested when you aren't. He did not name names, did not insinuate it was any of the VPs and clearly there are wrestlers who enjoy learning from him. But he did note a distaste for workers on their phone during company time. It came off curmudgeonly to me, even though Regal's earned the right. But given Regal's effusive praise of Vince McMahon I take his leadership opinions with a grain of salt.
