Koko's just odd because he's never really been featured at any point in the last 15 years. Came completely out of nowhere.

Mr. Fuji held the WWF Tag Team Title more than any other wrestler in history, and followed that up with a ten year career managing. He'd be iffy for a real Hall of Fame, but for WWE he's a lock.

Wrestlemania
Didn't Jericho challenge Flair to a match at Wrestlemania? Did something happen since Raw on Monday?

Andrew "Test" Martin Dead at 33
What about the deaths of Sherri Martel and John Kronus etc? Benoit was big news, so it fits into the news narrative. You see this kind of thing in the news cycle with other stories. Kidnappings become more reported when there's a big one featured. The news reports every school shooting when there's been a big one recently. Otherwise, it often goes un or underreported.

I fear the WCW dvd will be nWo centric. The tv shows from the Attitude era are so horribly dull to re-watch, I don't know why it's so popular. I don't know what positives you can take from WCW after 1998 or so, except the talent.

Wrestlemania
Bruno wouldn't be a shock, their mutual dislike seems to be mostly professional. If Bruno agreed, I think WWE would produce a dvd/Hall of Fame induction in a minute. Medusa is the one person who would truly surprise me.

"He's ambitiously stupid" - Why Scott Keith's new book is scary bad
I know there might be some racial overtones, but it's a Simpsons reference and having seen the episode, it's pretty innocent.

Wrestlemania
Absolutely agreed with that Loss.

The Paul London Thread
Exactly. Besides, assembling the entire wrestling crew ahead of time would've been an even greater logistical problem.

I wouldn't dare ask what constitutes continuity as far as a legal pinfall attempt. It changes from match to match mostly depending on what variation of the Dusty finish we're using today.

Verne Gagne Linked To Man's Death
I echo Jingus's thoughts here. The living facility is clearly going to be in legal hot water here.

"Macho Madness: The Randy Savage Ultimate Collection"
Or that it wasn't Nitro but WCW Saturday Night?

"Macho Madness: The Randy Savage Ultimate Collection"
Wrestling court is hardly a WWE concept. Many professional locker rooms have unofficial kangaroo courts.

Best of SNME DVD
Yes. Interesting, any commentary or unaired banter during the dead spots where the commercials were inserted live to tape? Oh I thought you meant not in clipped form. The matches are shown as aired on the networks, so when there's a break we just skip til afterwards.

Best of SNME DVD
One really noticeable part of the matches is how many of them have obvious action gaps to accommodate commercial breaks.

I'm not one for nitpicking on every bit of content on a blog. This piece from a guest review caught my eye though. That's pretty deplorable.

The Jim Ross Is A Grouchy Hateful Vile Human Being thread
Just happened to catch Wrestling Challenge with Ron Bass in 1987. Now THAT is shamelessly ripping off Hansen's act.

I watched a good chunk of PTW from 1987 thanks to 24/7. I'm pretty sure they were running a Steele/Davis angle.

Figured I'd throw this out there. http://vault.sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vau...22658/index.htm An SI article about Marty Bergen, a catcher for the Boston Braves from 1897-1900. Bergen murdered his wife and children before killing himself. There are a few similarities here between him and Benoit.

20 Years Ago - WON 07/11/88
Somewhere I read that Adonis was decapitated. Since he didn't die on scene, that's certainly unlikely.

This version of Lord Humongous was Sid Vicious, correct?

Ridiculous quotes from WO.com columnists
Agreed. The people reading the report care about what's going on in TNA. If they didn't, they wouldn't have clicked it in the first place.
