Impact Cancelled
who gets the job of cutting footage for $1 TNA DVDs in-between the end of the promotion and whatever buyout of relevant footage?

Current WWE
I'm awaiting the Wheelchair match where Cena fights off the entire Wyatt Family to put Bray in a wheelchair and wheel him past the finish line. Should be a good time
-
Current WWE
who knew this would lead to a temporary resurgence in Randy Orton's popularity

Current WWE
"And in a rematch, Batista faces Alberto Del Rio" Overheard at my house: "stop, stop, he's already dead"
-
Elimination Chamber
the best trolling finish would be for Bryan/Cesaro/Orton to be the final 3, then Bryan/Cesaro pin each other so Orton retains. But yeah... no solid idea where this goes, but Orton probably retains
-
Elimination Chamber
considering the jokes I made about a lucha rules Wyatts/Shield match, i'm pleased that they had a dive sequence with Luke Harper involved
-
Elimination Chamber
sensing we're building up to a big pop when Reigns tags in
-
Elimination Chamber
I don't know if they could do another Bray fatboy senton as a table spot, but it would be fucking awesome
-
Elimination Chamber
yep, not shocked the Outlaws went over
-
Elimination Chamber
Ryback probably asked the Axe to come down to the ring with them instead, leading to the Axe adopting Ryback as a grandson
-
Elimination Chamber
the Usos have been going over the Outlaws for like 2 weeks solid, the Outlaws are retaining tonight

R.I.P Mabel/Viscera/Big Daddy V
lord only knows what would have happened if the Tour Bus thing were around when Yokozuna was on top. But for Viscera, I don't recall him wrestling in the WWE with his upper body exposed until Big Daddy V. So, not sure if that messes with any perceptions of his weight at any time.

Current WWE
Emma should just gradually steal Santino's gimmick. In a few weeks, boom, Australian who now talks like an Italian

R.I.P Mabel/Viscera/Big Daddy V
well, there's the riding in cars, riding on planes, walking through airports.. i'd guess travelling while sitting on your behind isn't exactly going to burn pounds. Also, the food is free backstage and the eating schedule can be a bit unconventional. Probably quite a few avenues to being a pro wrestler and being overweight

Current WWE
"Yeah, I know i'm disqualified" was a surprisingly amazing line after Kane/Bryan. So, did Kane just quietly kill off Brad Maddox, or did they realize that having 4 authority figures on one show was a little much?

Puerto Rico Wrestling
it'd be interesting to see how much of someone getting over in PR (or even Mexico) involved in-ring charisma (or being real impressive in the ring too) and how much involves stuff like mic-work or out the ring activities.

Commercial breaks during matches
yeah, I don't get why you'd need commercial break stalling for a taped show. Just find spots for a break, snip a few seconds and then come back and don't ask questions. Has some person with too much free time figured out how many more breaks have been used for matches since Raw went to 3 hours?

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
Kept showing up drunk implies they allow you to show up drunk a few times, but once you show up drunk too many times, they fire you

The Daniel Bryan Push Thread
Are we talking "fans think he's too small" or "fans think he's too small and they can't buy-into the idea that he can beat people"? The first is obviously a lot better than the second. The first could be held in combination with "I think he's too small but I want him to win". Would it be a fair generalization to think the two biggest ways to fuck over someone's credibility are either [a] making it so people don't care about him or making it so people can't buy him as a credible contender? So there's lines between heel promos and attempted burials and there's differences between doubt and disbelief. It's not all that bad of a thing if fans want a guy to succeed but have some legitimate doubt. It's better than wanting them to succeed and thinking they'll just crush anybody no questions asked. Nothing wrong with some drama because some of them might want to actually buy-in to see if their guy can make it. Daniel Bryan isn't quite to the level where he's a Lex Luger or something right now

Punk Walks Out of WWE
yeah, I could see Punk making some one-shot appearances at indy shows, maybe as favors to friends ("Hey, i'll work your stuff, I won't ask for much, and money can be made if more people show up to see me").. deep Q on if that makes him a part-timer, although a giant portion of Indy Booking involves part-timers who show up at random. Hey, for all we know, he's one money mark away from booking some random indy next year So yeah, his career path will be something in-between going full-time somewhere else, and running for Mayor of Chicago in 2015

Punk Walks Out of WWE
yeah, are they going to be able to figure out which things are watched the most, and distribute money the most? did WWE 24/7 involve royalty payments?
-
The Daniel Bryan Push Thread
wouldn't it be even more of an authority dick move if Bryan essentially had to do a gauntlet match v. HHH and Bautista? or would the DB contingent freak out if Bryan beat HHH, but it took so much out of him that he lost the title to Bautista?

Punk Walks Out of WWE
Irrelevant amusing point: when you search for CMPunk on Twitter, a bunch of tweets mentioning "Coach" show up since they search for his username and the display name he uses (Coach). If he used that display name to fuck with the possibility of searching Twitter, well.. Also, i'm just going to start the rumor that CM Punk just blocked the WWE Twitter account today and that's why it looks like they don't follow CM Punk any more.

Current WWE
so CM Punk has 'went home', and isn't appearing on upcoming shows (edit: I should read other threads)

Current WWE
yeah, the last unplanned in-ring shoot in any American fed was.... what exactly? was it post-2000? just a Q. Seems a bit crazy to worry about a shoot when there's controls in place that can, at the very least, prevent a shoot where the shooter is declared the winner
