Match of the week?
Maybe we could have the option of DVD or You Tube, with each person making their own choice.

Match of the week?
You're a good man, bravesfan. I think monthly sounds like the way to go, because you could seriously do it for less than the price of a cup of coffee every day. [/sally Struthers] Seriously, I've been wanting to figure out a way to get more footage out that could be watched and discussed for months now and every idea I've thought of has had roadblocks. This just may work.

Wrestling thoughts that probably don't deserve
A world champion that doesn't appear on national television just can't be a world champion. He just ... can't.

Match of the week?
Would you do it if the only cost for you would be to provide your own blank DVD and pay shipping? That's $5.00 a month, unless you live outside the US, in which case it's a couple of dollars more. And in months when you could participate, you did and when you couldn't, you didn't. No contract or anything -- it's the prepaid phone of message boards.

It has begun
There's also the audacity of it all. I'm sure if Eddy's ghost is watching from anywhere, he's more concerned with his wife and daughters than who wins the Royal Rumble. WWE are treating this not like a man died, but rather that they wrote a character out of their script.

It has begun
I'm not the biggest Paul Heyman fan in the world, but he would be pushing for Vince to change his mind to Rey going over right about now if he were around.

It has begun
Yes, the plan in summer the previous year was for Orton and Batista to turn on Flair and HHH and for Orton - a heel - to face HHH - a face - at WM XX. That changed when Foley became available.
-
It has begun
Orton has been scheduled to be in the WM main event every year now, to a point where it's sort of a running gag. 2004, 2005 and now 2006.

Well, they did let him win the Rumble, so it's not like they're burying him. They're just pushing him as far as they think he's capable of going. I think if we get MITB II, he will be in that match.

I'm hoping something drastic happens between now and then that causes them to change their mind about Rey at the last minute.

I think I like Tim's idea even better.

Match of the week?
Let's make sure more people are interested before we do this.

Match of the week?
Will you watch it if you haven't and you have it? That's the whole point.

Match of the week?
How would everyone feel about picking out a random match that a lot of people have, everyone who has it watching it and then starting a thread talking about it over the course of the week? Thoughts?

What are you watching?
If I'm not mistaken, the amount of blood here caused the UWF to lose some of its syndication.

The 2006 Royal Rumble thread
I can not imagine how much it must've hurt you to type that. It's not 2002 anymore, CJ. I've moved on.

10 Worst I.C. Champions
Probably because it was the first title Piper had won after 7 years with the company where he was in a high-profile spot almost all the time, and he also dropped the belt in a pretty good match. The buildup to Hart/Piper at WM 8 was terrific. Great interviews from both.

The 2006 Royal Rumble thread
The difference between Jericho and Angle, however, is that Jericho was not getting cheered until the Summerslam match itself, and the "na na na na" chant did start when he was carted off on RAW, showing that at that moment, people were happy to see him go. Angle was getting cheered over the course of the entire feud with Cena. Jericho was not.

10 Worst I.C. Champions
Yet it was making sense to have co-champions?

10 Worst U.S. Champions
To Raven's credit, he at least won and lost the belt in two pretty fun matches in the course of 24 hours.
