Bruce Prichard's credibility
Who is this person? Someone who says IWC and thinks everyone is being buried except Roman Reigns?

WWE TV $$$ Edition (0$/21 - 0$/27)
What happens now? Styles drops the title to Nakamura, who starts a program with Bryan? Or Styles retains and they do a longer build toward Styles-Bryan at Summerslam with Styles-Joe filling time until then? Or do they mix Almas in quickly? Maybe Almas-Jeff Hardy?

But yes, considering that Russo once approached Cornette through an intermediary about working everyone to make some money off of their heat, this isn't out of character.

This all feels like the new work to me. Podcast beefs.

WWE Network... It's Here
They presented it as something after the fact on TV after having shown clips many times.

Your Wrestling Guilty Pleasure
Papa Shango doing voodoo shit to Ultimate Warrior was awesome no matter what anyone says.

Oh, and Dave elaborated that yes, sometimes less is more but Rollins is showing that sometimes more is more too.

Really enjoyed Bryan-Hardy. Those two have a great match in them just waiting to happen and I hope they eventually get the chance.

That Luger date has to be wrong. He debuted in 85 and won the Southern title from Wahoo McDaniel three weeks later. Maybe they are just off a year.

I only caught half of Raw but the first two matches were a strong 1-2 punch. Loved the slow build of Owens-Reigns with KO doing things like rolling outside after a big bump that few do anymore. The tag was excellent too. Is Rollins having the best run of his career?

WWE TV $$$ Edition (0$/21 - 0$/27)
It's still WWE, just now with so much money that they can do stuff that amuses Vince with 100% of their programming if they so desire. The beginning of a post-creative era where fans pretty much have no voice. Make of that what you will.

Smackdown moving to FOX
Vince is now wealthier than Ted Turner.

General Chat topic
I avoid soda and alcohol for the most part and I stopped smoking 13 years ago, which is probably why in spite of my weight, my health is excellent. I do really well with low-carb diets but love carbs too much for my own good. I was doing Bulletproof Coffee and no carbs a few months ago and felt great and dropped weight. I should get back on that train. How did you guys grow up? My family was pretty poor and there were times we lived in seedy motels for weeks at a time because we were displaced. Ive worked since I was 14 years old. My life dramatically changed for the better when I moved away from home at 25. I did have a job in high school that was the envy of everyone though. I worked at Hastings, which was kind of the southern version of Borders, and got huge employee discounts on music, books, and video rentals.

Best workers of the 2010s (so far)
What have been the absolute best matches from The Bar? Its easy to forget that Cesaro has been part of three excellent tag teams in the last four years alone.

WWE TV 05/14 - 05/20
Shane thought Test should lead WCW during the Invasion. It was around this time that it became clear that he didnt have a strong booking mind.

Bruce Prichard's credibility
Bumping this. I've decided that my biggest issue is not with the podcasts themselves. Workers gonna work, which is how wrestling has always been. The bigger issue is with the Twitter army. They are awful. (No particular event prompted this post, just Dave arguing with Pritchard-Russo-Bischoff trolls on Twitter all the time.)

Promos in WWE
Neither here nor there, but I remember having closed captions on once many moons ago and repeatedly seeing "Come on, show man Randy Savage."

Following the Business vs Following the Product?
I care when it confirms my biases. Otherwise, I dont. Just like most people.

WWE quirks, linguistic and otherwise
Especially now when no one talks on the phone. And why would Kurt or Paige be on the phone instead of running the show? I mean, if your only job is to general manage RAW, shouldn't you make yourself fully available the whole time and do all of your paperwork and calls at a different point in the week?

Enzo & Cass
I think instead of teaming, I'd like to see Enzo taken out of the ring completely if they do bring him back, which I don't think they will. Make him Cass's mouthpiece and let him stir the pot and go hide behind his enforcer.

Promos in WWE
I get not using the word as a way to distinguish yourself from other groups like in the 1980s and 1990s. Most fans were only wired to think about wrestling as one thing from one place, and he needed the audience to understand as part of their marketing that the WWF was something special, a cut above. Now though? I think it's a different story. I'm looking forward to Vince hating the "Johnny Wrestling" chant and demanding that announcers and Gargano both stop using it. Or, we'll see if he's called "Johnny Sports Entertainment".

WWE TV 05/14 - 05/20
Just to be certain, if they have a series, is everyone ok with Miz winning at least one match during it? I think Bryan should win the feud in the end but Miz going over once is not something that I think is a bad idea.

How much time a week do you devote to watching wrestling?
Watching? Not much for a while now. Searching for, collecting, seeking out, researching, and talking about? A gillion infinity.
