[1999-07-24-MPPW-TV] Bruce Pritchard, Steve Bradley, J.R. Smooth and Kurt Angle
Bruce Pritchard comes out for an interview and is introduced as the Vice President of Talent Relations. He would love to speak to Kurt Angle, who gets a big welcome. Steve Bradley seems jealous. Bruce tells him he needs to up his aggression. Angle wants a title shot right here today against JR Smooth. Smooth treats the request seriously, which is cool since Memphis heels don't do that very often. Angle doesn't promise victory today, but says he will give it his best.

[1999-07-24-Osaka Pro] Dick Togo & Black Buffalo & Policeman vs Super Delphin & Masato Yakushiji & Masaru Seno
I don’t think this was quite as good as the 5/4 match, mainly because it didn’t have the same level of chaos, but the difference was negligible. The wrestling may have been better in some ways, and I liked how every individual in the match got plenty of chances to be in the match for long periods of time, whereas the 5/4 match was lacking Yakushiji. Speaking of, I love the guy, so seeing him as FIP is pretty cool, and he and Togo have worked together for years at this point so they pair off really well. I like how Togo angled that crossface to make it look even nastier and more dangerous than it normally does. This didn’t peak as high overall as 5/4, but it’s also less flawed. Split the difference.

[1999-07-22-WCW-Thunder] Randy Savage promo
Savage and Luger it looks like are going to be on Arliss. Quick clip airs. Then Savage comes out for a promo. Savage is now saying that he will be running for President and tells fans they will be voting for him because he's the boss. Not sure what that's about. Savage challenges Rodman to a match. This is at least much better use of him than on top in main events. He also announces that he has fired Madusa. Mona (not yet named that) is also no longer Miss Madness because she has caused so much confusion by being at ringside with him. Savage wants her to get down on her knees and beg for her job, then throws her out of the ring anyway.
