  1. Last few minutes. This crowd is far hotter than the show deserves. Kevin Nash, who is now a heel in his third turn of the year, attacks Hogan until Sting makes the save. Rick Steiner then runs in to attack Sting. Goldberg comes out (in a brief period where he used Megadeth's "Crush 'Em" as his theme) in his official return and cleans house.
  2. Last few minutes. The other West Texas Rednecks hit the ring for the DQ. Dean Malenko comes out to make the save but the numbers catch up to him. Finally, Shane Douglas shows up in his WCW debut and aligns himself with Benoit, Malenko and Saturn, giving birth to The Revolution.
  3. Last few minutes of a Savage-Kidman match. Savage keeps dropping the elbow, then pulling Kidman up when he's about to have him pinned. Suddenly, Dennis Rodman shows up and smacks Savage from behind with something. Robert Wuhl (yes, Robert Wuhl) gets in the ring in character as Arliss, where he tries to make the match happen. WCW is full of fucking idiots. The Savage-Rodman pull-apart is really good and heated, and even Madusa and Miss Madness get in a fight. I like everything about this except them pretending Arliss is real.
  4. Last few minutes. Crowd was hot, just as it always was for this matchup. Scott Hudson is doing announcing because Bischoff thought Tony was getting burned out and needed a break. Flair does the Flair Flop then just stands up. After a ref bump, Asya takes a Stinger Splash. After Sting locks on the Scorpion, Bischoff comes in and takes over refereeing and calls for the bell. Flair officially no longer has control of the company. Thank God. He's off TV for the next two months to wash this stink off of him. Sid comes out and powerbombs Bischoff right away, making him a beloved figure. Hogan comes out to chase him away.
  5. JJ Dillon confronts Lenny and Lodi over their expired contracts, but they seem to think he's about to out them the whole time. JJ figures out that they are brothers. Okay then.
  6. I just checked a few places, including your thread in the ECW folder, and feel a little better about the finish after reading it. It was barbed wire. I thought he pulled a live rat out of the garbage can and threw it on his face. It didn't make sense to me that ECW would pan back like that for barbed wire. I was pretty shaken up by that.
  7. I was looking forward to this match, but it didn't do anything for Taijiri to get squashed like this. I also thought they could have had a really good match without the usual shortcuts of weapons and interference and didn't. And that finish was so disgusting and beyond the pale that I can't even begin to wrap my head around it. ECW crossed too many lines on this show. Just awful.
