Did the WCW/NWA ring have a tag rope that it's possible I never saw? It seems to be prevalent in just about every other promotion and style, so I was curious if I just never noticed it for whatever reason.

I don't know about their party affilitation, but what we know about their personal positions on issues tends to be pretty liberal.

I don't know if Jim Cornette is a Democrat or just someone who got fed up during the Bush years. I think most people in wrestling are going to be Republicans. It's interesting that historically, most wrestling fans have been Democrats.

I'm just skeptical about it being WWC because of the lack of Here's A Guy We Market vs Here's Another Guy We Market matches, along with it being difficult to do a "rise and fall" type DVD on a territory that is relatively obscure even among hardcore fans. I don't know what kind of value it has to WWE. They were able to get a DVD out of AWA, World Class, Mid South and WCW. They have early footage of guys like Lawler and Austin in the USWA Texas footage they own. Look at the current guys who are marketed as Legends. Flair, Duggan, Dusty, Hogan, Bret, Jake, Piper, etc. Not a huge amount of overlap. Also, is Colon's induction worth the seven figures it would likely take to buy the library?

I feel like it's weird that when they show the clips, they return and they're talking about a completely different topic. To me, the clip should interrupt them in the middle of the topic instead of being shown at the end. No bumper conversation is strange.

While I haven't seen the match for myself, I've heard Yoshida vs Fujii from 5/03 get huge praise. I was curious if there was a reason it wasn't listed here. Was it just not something nominated, or is it something people aren't as high on anymore?

Missy Hyatt has said this before, but Fandango on Total Divas is such an awesome natural heel and I really wish his persona on the main WWE shows was closer to that.

Of the available libraries, Houston is really the only one that I think is something they could market. I don't know that the other libraries have much value to them unless they contain lots of matches featuring big American stars.

Threads have been created for all of the matches on the spreadsheet. There are other threads in those folders as well, but the matches listed on the spreadsheet are distinguished by the tag BOJ 2000s. Here is a link to all the matches: http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/tags/forums/BOJ%2B2000s/ I included YouTube/Daily Motion links where they were included, but did not include download links in the threads, so the spreadsheet will still be needed for the project. I plan on eventually moving any comments on the matches to the relevant threads, but to speed things up, anyone who has posted in the main thread we have at PWO is encouraged to re-post their thoughts in the new threads.
