This was fine. It's interesting that Batista gets the return-from-commercial-break intro. That's the guy challenging for the world title at Wrestlemania. I also think it's interesting that Bryan is in an underdog babyface role and tends to still take most of the offense in his matches. Batista seemed tired and I'm not sure he's back in ring shape yet.

It felt like the announcers weren't really putting this over as strong as they could have. The spots Sheamus did on the floor early on were really impressive but weren't treated as anything special. Del Rio works over Sheamus's injured arm and does some good stuff, but I think Sheamus could have sold the damage way more than he did. The injury didn't really impact his ability to hit any of his moves.

Serviceable segment. I honestly watch this segment and think Seth Rollins should be pushed as the breakaway star, but I know that's not happening. And I don't like how they've shifted to Reigns being the one above the conflict because it's kind of a sharp left turn, but we'll see where it's going.

I loved this segment. Why would anyone want Batista in any role other than heel ever? That smug, smirking demeanor is just so natural on him. I thought Daniel Bryan was good in this too, but the sarcasm was a little strong for me coming off of such a big attack on Monday night. Batista was more serious and I wish Bryan had been too. I also think at this point they need to do something to neutralize Kane in this feud. I think Bryan needs to break his arm or something so that he's out of the way. There are way too many levels of authority figures in WWE right now. Vicki Guerrero is pointless.

USA cared about content. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that another network would. They may not. I just don't think it should be dismissed immediately.

I get that. I just don't get who employs who. We've seen managers fire wrestlers. We've seen wrestlers fire managers.

I don't know that I have anything new to add to this, but I really love this thread and wanted to bump it anyway. If wrestlers employ managers, I'm still not sure how managers get to fire wrestlers.

I do wonder what type of pressure AMC would put on WWE creatively. Wrestling is pretty low brow compared to the other stuff on their network.
