Current WWE
I have noticed that all Bryan dueling promos follow the same format. Other guy: You're ugly. DB: No matter what you say, no matter what you do, these people still chant the word (Audience: Yes! Yes! Yes!) Other guy: Yes, but you're ugly and short. DB: Call me what you like, but these people still chant the word (Audience: Yes! Yes! Yes!) Other guy: Yes, but you're ugly and short and a B-plus player. DB: You may say I'm a B-plus player, but these people still chant the word (Audience: Yes! Yes! Yes!) I don't think he's an irritating character as much as I think he's not always allowed to have real person responses when he's wronged. He is sometimes, like when he attacked Shawn after HIAC. There's also the issue that I'm not sure the company entirely understands why he's popular, so sometimes their scripting of his stuff leaves something to be desired. He's over enough for the foreseeable future that it's not a huge issue for now, but it is something I've picked up on.

How is the Network going to affect WWE Home Video?
Also they picked matches like Sting & Dusty vs Road Warriors that just aren't very good.

Punk Walks Out of WWE
I don't know that we're owed an explanation. If he was fighting some rare disease or taking care of a sick family member, that's not really anyone's business. If there's a dispute over pay, that certainly isn't either. I realize this stuff leaks out sometimes and we talk about it, so it's not my point that we shouldn't when it does. My point is more that he doesn't really owe anyone a public explanation.

Nitro vs. RAW - Really 80+ Weeks?
I don't think the shows were head to head during those weeks. Nitro was aired either later in the evenings or in shorter form on Tuesdays during NBA playoffs.

How is the Network going to affect WWE Home Video?
What a horrible selection of matches. Anyway, home video has been in decline for a while now. That stood out to me when they did comparisons to last year on the last conference call. If I had to guess, they will still release things occasionally, but it will be rare and not as much of a priority.

WWE Network... It's Here
I really want them to do a Liquid Television-style 30 minute block of random Video Vault stuff as a series.

WWE Network... It's Here
And there is the awesomeness of the WWE Network. Yes I've seen that match many times, but it's pretty cool that it's being exposed to so many people who probably have never seen it.

The Steve Austin Show
I think that's where being a hardcore fan makes the network a little more advantageous. I immediately know that Austin faced Rock at three Wrestlemanias, which ones and which years they happened in. I'm not just lost because I have a vague memory of The Rock fighting Stone Cold, but not remembering when it happened. So I empathize with casual subscribers in that regard.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
Yes, it deserves its own thread. Have fun with the title. Please be creative.

WWE Network... It's Here
I see the platform and concept as more valuable than the content itself. Things will be added eventually, but the plan is to put some content on rotation instead of having everything permanently available last I heard. Having wrestling stuff to just conveniently put on as "background noise" while cleaning or doing whatever around the house is pretty cool. So is going back and being able to watch a previous episode of something I may have missed without having to scour YouTube forever and filter through search results that may or may not point to what I'm actually looking for. It's just my opinion, but I think expecting them to have too much stuff up within the next six months is an unrealistic expectation.

The Steve Austin Show
I'm not sure if I find it annoying that the phrase "Attitude Era" has become such a standard part of the vernacular, but I think I do. It's not like WWE ever declared it to be over, nor is there an official company line on when exactly it ended.

Current WWE
I would like to point out that Dave has gone from "They aren't changing the main event" to "It's a possibility". That leads me to believe he knows something but was possibly asked not to give away their plans. Add that they changed their lineup somewhere last week to "Batista vs Randy Orton vs ??" and it makes me think we are going to end the show with Bryan with the gold.

What was the "main event" of Beach Blast 92?
If John Cena was in WCW, DVD releases would still have pictures of him with the backwards hat and gold chains on the cover.
