  2. So with all of this shit, the real question becomes...... Who wins the Royal Rumble? Smart booking would be for Bryan to get no more matches with Orton, be forced to win the Rumble from #1, and then finally get his huge win at Wrestlemania. But we all know smart booking isn't the forte of WWE Creative. So, who else can it be?
  3. The answer to the thread title summed up in a single moment.....

  5. I am super excited, and I have no where else to geek out about it, so please forgive me..... I'm Going To The Royal Rumble!!!! It has been my favorite PPV since I watched the first one on VHS with my Dad back in '89, and it has been the one show over the years that no matter where my fandom or financial situation stood, I always made an effort to catch. This year they are having it in Pittsburgh, the first time it has ever been anywhere near where I was, and I ordered tickets this morning. I am super excited!!
  6. What about Dave Finlay. He strikes me as a guy who could kick your ass pretty fast. Dave Taylor as well.
  7. I announced a show recently that had Barbarian on it. While talking to him I jokingly asked who would win if he and Meng got in a fight, Barbarian laughed and said "Meng, All Day Long brother!" I then said "Yeah, I've heard the stories." He replied" Brother, I LIVED the stories" which got a huge chuckle from Kevin Sullivan who was sitting at the table next to him.
  8. Apparently GoFightLive talked Ring of Honor into trying one more IPPV because they had new and upgraded technology. So last night's finals of the World Title Tournament were put on IPPV for free (instead of VOD which people would have had to pay for)......and the stream still hardly worked!!

#13Y19T5R9U13P has already been translated into #MysteriumP, or @MysteriumP which is a twitter account linked to a game that Chikara did a year or two ago that no one ever solved.
  10. Five years ago I would have answered RVD. But having re-watched all of 1995 ECW, and currently working on '96, my opinion has changed. RVD and the stuff he does was super exciting back in the 90's. I had never seen anything like the matches he was having with Jerry Lynn. Unfortunately by the mid 2000's, the opening match at most Ring of Honor shows were running those spots. Not to mention that RVD himself has basically been doing all of the exact same spots since 1996. So I have grown increasingly tired of the whole act. Sabu was a guy who I always enjoyed, but going back and paying attention to more than his crazy bumps, watching the character, the psychology, and the timing of the crazy spots, I have come to enjoy him far more. Sure he fucked up a ton of spots, but when your going balls to the wall doing crazy shit, that tends to happen. Also for a guy who is supposed to be crazy and could probably just shrug off any selling he needed to do, his selling is worlds better than RVD's.

Hey, that's me! I filled out the petition in hopes of getting a free t-shirt or something, and then it turned out to be a hoax set up by the fake security company that supposedly shut down Chikara. They called last night at 11PM and told me that I should avoid Philadelphia, specifically the Rocky stairs between 11 am and 1 pm on Saturday the 14th. They then thanked me for my compliance and hung up. I honestly couldn't tell if it was a recording or an actual person, the voice was very monotone. I am thinking this whole Chikara shut down is going to turn into some kind of alternate reality game, before they come back next year. Edit: Do you follow me on Twitter, or did you just happen to come across that?

So according to Stephanie McMahon on tonight's Raw, she grew up backstage at the arena's, and Big Show was her best friend when she was a 12 year old girl...... So.... A) Stephanie is trying to push that she is only 26 B ) Big Show was hanging out backstage at WWF shows in 1988, 7 years before his WCW debut, and 11 years before his WWF debut. C) Someone probably should have done 20 seconds of research before cutting a promo. Edit: Oh wait...I got it now. Remember when he came into WCW they strongly implied that he was Andre's kid.....that could explain why he was backstage giving life advice to Stephanie in '88
  14. After the match, Joey Styles said that ECW had trademarked the show name "When Worlds Collide" and WCW wanted to use it for the co-promoted PPV they did with AAA. So instead of monetary compensation, he got the one night usage of Arn and Bobby. I find that story a bit suspect though, as I always assumed that the show was called "When Worlds Collide" because wrestlers from WCW were going to be in ECW
  15. Watching the latest "ECW Unreleased" DVD from WWE, and the Eaton/Sabu vs Funk/Double A match just came on. I've always wondered..... Why did WCW let Arn and Bobby go work an ECW show? I know ECW wasn't a fraction of what it would become, but it still seems strange.
  16. Here is a straight up You Tube to MP3 converter..... You Tube to MP3 Just put in the You Tube URL, it will convert it to MP3 and give you a download link.

  20. Chael just busted out the Superstar Billy Graham "Man of the hour, man with the power" bit after winning his fight!
  21. ECW was fine during the years that Shane was on top. I wouldn't exactly say that he was a main eventer during the dying days of WCW, just someone who happened to be there. As for XPW......well, who gives a shit about XPW.
  22. I haven't played a ton of the Filsinger Legends. But I do have Chikara and all of their other Indy game releases. I plan to eventually get all of the Legends, but haven't yet.
  23. I have played this a few times.
  24. Arn Anderson's punches with added "toush" sound effect are my all time favorite.
  25. The indy that I ring announce for ran two shows this past Saturday with super special guest........Rob Terry......
