WWE TV 04/05 - 04/11 Eden Hazard has gone missing since 2018 what happened to him
At the Fastlane PPV a few weeks ago, Mustafa Ali lost to Riddle in the pre-show, and they turned on him. That was it. Like most everything else in the WWE, it went out with a dud. I don't think any of them, other than Ali, have been appeared since.

Under-the-radar wrestling book recommendations
It may now be too late for the 10% off, but he seems to be the only person who sells the book. I'd shoot him an e-mail and see if he sold out.

Under-the-radar wrestling book recommendations
Just saw on Twitter that today only Rock Rims is offering 10% off his excellent "Rotten" Ron Starr book which I finished last week and really enjoyed. Supposedly only 6 copies left. Says to email him at [email protected]

AEW Dynamite - March 31, 2021
Well, that's unfortunate. Apparently people tuned in to see if Christian still had it, and well, quite frankly I thought he looked sloppy and the match went way too long, and then they turned the show off, which only got better after that match. I love AEW, and I want nothing more than for them to be a viable alternative to the absolute garbage that WWE has become, but unless live crowds returning increases interest in the product, I just can't put my finger on what they can do to make that happen. Wrestling isn't "cool" anymore (not that it really ever was, but that mid to late 90's surge had some steam) and while I have no issue with the Rhodes Reality Show, I can't think that's gonna do it. Maybe the NXT move will help, if the people watching it who aren't the WWE Elitist Mouth Breathers give it a shot.

WWE TV 03/22 - 03/28 Roman never tapped
There has to be some other Hall of Famer or guy who was some semblance of a name 15 to 20 years ago being held together by paper clips and bubble gum that they can trot out to win the belt from Roman instead of trying something new. Maybe Booker T? What's Matt Morgan doing these days? Is Bull Buchannon available?

The aging of wrestling fans
This made me laugh, but then I heard Vince in my head going "That's a great idea Pal!"

The aging of wrestling fans
Now you listen here @El-P, attacking the high art of pro wrestling story telling is one thing, but attacking the stories in Porn is the last straw! If I can't truly believe that she is a realtor and the only way to get those 5 guys to buy the house..... You know what, Nevermind. You've ruined it.

She's okay in the ring, but it feels like the mystique of the character is already dead after losing so decisively to Shida.

I don't understand the dislike for Best Friends. Both guys are perfectly serviceable in the ring, even if they aren't setting the world on fire. Chuck Taylor isn't doing the invisible hand grenades or any of that kind of stuff. When they had fans, the whole "Big Hug after clearing the ring" spot seemed to get a pop every week. I'm not calling for a lengthy title run or anything, but as a midcard tag team to pick up wins on Dark, and then put over the dastardly heels on Dynamite, I certainly think you could do a whole lot worse.

Going by this List I would cut: Alan Angels, Anthony Bowens, The Gunn Club, Colt Cabana, Joey Janela, Luther, Marko Stunt, Matt Sydal, Max Caster, Michael Nakazawa, Serpentico, Shawn Dean, Shawn Spears I know that Cabana, Sydal, and Janela have something of a "name value" to some people, but they are going absolutely no where. Shawn Spears is only worth keeping on the roster if they think they are going to get Peyton Royce, otherwise I have no idea what value he adds. I don't see what they see in The Acclaimed. It seems like Brandon Cutler, Kazarian, Daniels, Peter Avalon, and QT Marshall are probably doing backstage stuff as well as being lower carders, but they could certainly stand to go as well. Kip Sabian is only worth having as a manager for Penelope Ford. Private Party, Top Flight, Lee Johnson, Hobbs, and Preston Vance seem like guys worth slow building as they gain experience. On the women's roster, I think Big Swole, Mel, Abadon, and Leva Bates can safely be cut. As for folks I would look to hire.... I think Alex Gracia, Jazmin Allure, and Tesha Price who they've had on Dark would be worth investing in long term to train with Dustin. If they can get Andrade and Thea, they definitely should. When it comes to WWE cast offs, they need to be careful not to go crazy, but guys like Ricochet, Aleister Black, and the like who have been criminally underused and fit their style would be good choices. As for folks from the indies and elsewhere, Jeff Cobb, Chris Hero, Bandido, Deonna Purrazzo, Su Yung, and Zack Sabre would be a few I'd look into.

WWE TV 03/15 - 03/21 Bayern Munchen to repeat as UCL champions
I am really curious what is happening with Keith Lee. He tweeted this today.... and for what it's worth, PWInsider reports that he isn't being factored into any future WWE plans. At his age, I really hope he doesn't rot, doing nothing under WWE contract for an extended amount of time. Not that I don't want him to make that money, but God Damn, he has so much talent.

AEW Dark Megathread
Super disappointed in Elevation. The last thing we needed was another two hour show filled with squash matches. Dark has been way too long since the pandemic started, and as was stated above, this is pretty much just more Dark (with a fancy main event) Tony and Show were fine, they'll gel more as time goes on. But, I was already picking and choosing matches on Dark with just the people I really like. Guess I will be doing the same here.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
Did you ever wonder if maybe Undertaker's early hats were just leftover Billy Jack Haynes hats with the green band removed?

ROSTERS AND TRANSACTIONS
The following moves were already in play.... Jose Estrada, Fidel Sierra, and Ricky Santana to USWA on 3/21 for Jesse Barr and Future Considerations. This trade can happen now, as I will no longer be writing the shows I needed The Cartel for. Also... Dan Spivey, Bobby Duncum, and Phil Hickerson to USWA for on 3/27. Spoiler tags are to avoid giving away results to Spaldoni's big event on 3/26.

AEW Revolution
Little girls didn't scream when Christian took off his shirt, so he was less over than Matt Hardy. He didn't powerbomb people through tables, so he was less over than Bubba Dudley. For the record, I loved the Dudleys in ECW, and not so much anything that happened after they left, especially not Bully Ray which is one of the stupidest names ever. As for Christian, I'm not sure he really got over (outside of spots in TLC matches, 5 Seconds Poses, and playing the Kazoo) until he cut his hair and got the "CHRISTIAN, CHRISTIAN....AT LAST YOU'RE ON YOU'RE OWNNNNN" music. Somehow Edge, with his wierd face and less talent was the one that was over at that time. (I am actually with you, that of the TLC 6, Christian was the most talented of the bunch. He just wasn't the most over.)

AEW Revolution
I would second that. Christian was more over than D-Von, but less over than Lita

WWE Network... It's Here
This is absolutely going to be my favorite part of this. The avalanche of angry tweets from WWE marks who can't find the show they want to watch or just downright hate the new lay out, flooding the Peacock Twitter account is going to be something to see. Like you, I can only assume that NBC has absolutely no idea what they are getting into.

In absolute agreeance about Jim Ross. I remember in 1989 during the end of Gordon Solie's career, they gave him a little segment where he counted down the Top 10, and then recapped and offered his opnion on one of the big angles happening in the NWA. I think this would be a great use of J.R. It keeps him active with the product, but it also has him nice and produced where he can't shit on the product or say things he shouldn't say. In agreeance about all of the people they've brought in, other than Trent. I feel like he was gone from WWE long enough, and his team with Chuck Taylor make a fine enough mid card act that the fans seem to enjoy. But Hager, Hardy, Spears, Big Show, and Christian all feel unneeded. If they had just brought Sting in as a recurring enforcer, or special referee, I would have been okay with it. Him showing up on TNT all these years later, kinda cool. Him beating up guys that are the future of AEW, not cool at all. and please, please get Miro away from Sabian. Penelope Ford is the money in the Sabian act in the first place! As I mentioned before, you have all of the Dark jobbers that they've signed now, who could eventually turn into something, but that's a long ways off. Then you have guys like Luther, Nakazawa, and Billy Gunn and his brood taking up space. They could drop about a dozen people, sign up a couple people like Chris Hero and Jeff Cobb who can come out and have some bangers with pretty much anyone on your roster, and then have spots waiting when someone like Aleister Black and Zelina became available. I really hope WWE and their hoarding of wrestlers doesn't become the standard.

Certainly wasn't overly impressed with the Christian Cage or Ethan Page signings, and it does feel like maybe they are signing too many of the Dark guys. But I have to ask.... Do we have any idea when Aleister Black's WWE contract is up? Because if WWE are just going to let him rot because his wife had the balls to stand up to them, I really hope to see them show up as a pair on Dynamite when he is finished. That would give AEW two viable people that would actually fit in pretty well there, that wouldn't be rookie talent, or over the hill talent. @rovert? anybody?

WWE Network... It's Here
Well, according to this press release that came out today, the classic content won't be available initially, but should all be ported over by SummerSlam. For some reason that doesn't instill me with confidence about stuff like World Class and Mid-South being much of a priority... ever
