Live Wrestling: What are you watching, what are you going to watch?
I'm ring announcing my first show in almost two years on August 5th with Manny Fernandez, The Patriot, The Cuban Assassin, Lord Zoltan, possibly King Kaluha, and former WWE Diva B.B.

WWE TV: July 10-16
To go back even further, I think if they had called the audible and had Reigns toss Batista to win the 2014 Rumble, he would be exactly where they want him to be today. I was in Pittsburgh that night, and I have been too shows where the crowd has gone home disappointed, but that night the crowd went home fucking angry. When Reigns and Batista were the last two in that match, a swell went across that crowd and Reigns momentarily became Hogan in 85, Austin in 98, and Sammartino in the 60's all rolled into one. Had he tossed Big Dave, the reaction would have been thunderous, and although he still wouldn't have been Daniel Bryan, all would have been well in Pittsburgh that night, and this dark path of The Office vs The Fans booking that I truly believe began that night because they no longer had a choice but to push Daniel Bryan, could have all been avoided.

Fire Pro Wrestling World: The first FPW game in TWELVE years (currently Early Access on Steam, coming soon to PS4)
My information may be outdated at this point. There was a post a while back on the Fire Pro Club facebook page, and someone said something about a PS4 server for CAW trading costing too much, and thus there would not be one. I don't know if that is still the case, or if it was ever correct in the first place. But since they seem to be making this game on the cheap, it has steered me toward the PC version.

Fire Pro Wrestling World: The first FPW game in TWELVE years (currently Early Access on Steam, coming soon to PS4)
Rumor is that there will be no servers for CAW trading on the PS4. So I think I will pick up the Steam version eventually.

WWE 2k...
I haven't cared much for these games since SvR 2011, but I just saw where they are adding 4 vs 4 capabilities. If they add Survivor Series matches, I may have to look into possibly picking this one up.

WWE TV July 3 - July 10
I'm no expert on rap battles, but I think The Uso's won that one. Apparently the allusion to the Woods/Paige situation has been edited out of the version that WWE has uploaded to YouTube.

Favorite 3 -5 year peak from a worker?
No one else may agree with me, but I will say Shane Douglas from January '96 when he returned to ECW to January '99 when he lost the title to Taz.

Jim Breaks Arrested For Beating Wife To Death
Very much agree with Goodhelmet. There is a large difference between what Benoit did, and what could (stressing COULD) be at play here if Mr. Breaks is suffering from Alzheimer's or some other age related brain condition. My Grandmother was the nicest lady you'd ever meet and in her last days she was biting and punching at the people that were attempting to give her care in the nursing home. I've never seen the man wrestle, so I don't care about his legacy or anything like that. I just wanted to point out that like what happened with Verne Gagne, this is very different than Benoit. If Jim Breaks is in full control of his mental facilities... then Fuck Him.

WWE TV 6/26-7/3
It was especially glaring during the MITB ppv when they said "We have three second generation superstars competing in this match." I felt bad for the guy who was probably home watching his daughters big win.

WWE TV 6/26-7/3
That kind of looked like the end of the Lana experiment.

Wrestle Circus live stream on Twitch
I've caught a few of there shows now, and I want to like them, but they have some issues. Firstly, the announce team is terrible. Just dull and not at all fun to listen too. Second of all, they suffer from early ROH syndrome and need to learn to time the fucking shows. This show is currently about to hit the 5 hour mark and they haven't even made it to the main event yet. No show needs to be this long. You don't need to have 15 matches, and John Morrison vs Luchasaurus (among other matches) certainly didn't need to go over 10 minutes. On the plus side, the company brings in a ton of fun talent, but instead of bringing in 50 fucking people for 15 matches, save yourself some money and have a more streamlined show.

WWE Money In The Bank 2017
EA Sports puts out the same product year after year with minor changes and the hardcore fans bitch about how nothing ever changes then buy it anyway. Considering that EA Sports and WWE can be interchanged in that paragraph seemlessly, I think that question is more spot on than intended. and Thank You for getting rid of Stro, I've been hoping for that for months!!

Magnum T.A.
I suppose I could have titled this "What If Magnum T.A. never wrecked his car" but those threads got a little crazy and I don't want to be responsible for bringing them back! But let's suppose for a minute that Magnum never crashes that night. Where does his career go from there? Does he stay with Crockett and become NWA Champion? Does he eventually end up in New York? Does it change the fate of JCP? Does Nikita ever turn? How does it affect Luger and Sting getting the babyface pushes they got in his absence? Any other scenario's?

Most Shocking Title Changes
Without knowing the backstage politics of it, Honky Tonk winning the IC Title from Steamboat was a huge shock to me back in the day. It just seemed so sudden and out of nowhere after Steamboats road to revenge and redemption finally culminated.
-
What If.... The Slam Heard Around The World
Wasn't really saying Billy Jack was a viable option, just trying to think of the most jacked babyface on the roster at the time. I almost added newly babyface Brutus Beefcake to my list as well. Just looking at all the possibilities in this scenario.

What If.... The Slam Heard Around The World
My first thought was turn Savage early, but coming that fresh off the Steamboat story I think it's too early. In this world there is no Hogan to help cement the turn either, so unless you do something drastic like have Andre try and claim Elizabeth, I think Savage's turn needs the slow burn. Steamboat is a possibility, but he just won the IC Title, and if he asks for the time off like he did in the real world, I don't see him being the guy in this scenario. If they could pay Piper enough money to stay, I think he'd be the best choice, but I think he'd go. Of the currently available choices, Duggan actually seems the most viable. He is not yet a total goofball, he has the USA thing going for him, and if nothing else he could be used to transition the title off of a broken down Andre. Other possibilities: We weren't too far from the "Superstar" Billy Graham comeback. No one knows he'll break down after just a couple months. Does Andre keep the belt, and we get the comeback story of comeback stories? Vince likes muscle guys, we do have Billy Jack Haynes juiced to the gills on the roster. How about Bam Bam Bigelow? He got pretty fucking over in that first run. Size wise, people could buy him against the Giant. From outside of the company, the only guy I could see them going for is Slaughter with the gimmick and the GI Joe tie-in. But the real question is still, would any of them matter business wise, cause they aren't Hogan.

What If.... The Slam Heard Around The World
This is something I pondered posting in the fantasy booking area multiple times but for whatever reason didn't. But after seeing the What If thread that popped up getting awesome responses, I decided to go ahead and give it a whirl. Pontiac Silverdome. 93,173 fans watch as The Hulkster motions that he is going to slam Andre the Giant! The place goes wild as Hogan reaches down, scoops up Andre and lifts him high into the air. But then something goes wrong..... Something in Hogan's back gives way. He collapses under the weight and crashes to the mat with The Giant on top of him. The referee has no choice but to count the pinfall, and Andre The Giant becomes the WWF Heavyweight Champion of the World. So that is your assignment..... Hulk Hogan suffers a fluke career ending injury on the biggest stage of them all. How does WWF recover? Who is the next great babyface? Does it sink the company? Does it impact Crockett or Gagne in any way? Looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with. I am always impressed with the level of knowledge and creativity on this board.
