Twitter Handles?
Tim has the best twitter for info and tracking what's hot. Minimal fucking nonsense unlike some of the other idiots. The Big Dog is kind of funny though.

SummerSlam Brooklyn... It's Time!!!
They must think they can pull that off since they are in the same building tomorrow and explain it then without burning the crowd. I kinda sense something with Sting coming.

SummerSlam Brooklyn... It's Time!!!
I like the booking of these five matches being all in a row.

WWE TV 8-10-8/16
IMO the belt should have been put on Reigns at Money in the Bank 2014 when he had natural momentum and then should have saw him drop it to Lesnar a month later at Summerslam to build toward an eventual rematch. Picture that Mania match having happened at Summerslam and then the subsequent ride to see him get his rematch after having the belt snatched so quick. A loss so quick wouldn't have hurt him because it's fucking Lesnar. Remember that battle royal with him and Rusev as the final two. That was great stuff.

Darks/Unearthed post-2000
Punk/Rollins vs. Cesaro/Ohno from NXT is another. Hopefully there is some non-WWE mentioned as this thread goes.

Darks/Unearthed post-2000
Nowadays everything is filmed it seems and it's always old footage being unearthed. I keep a want list and just added Joe-Kidd to it, but noticed the list is almost entirely all pre-2000 and nothing from the last 15 years except for... Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H (WWE South Dakota 9-6-02) ECW Arena Show (WWE Philadelphia 6-24-06) What other notable stuff has been talked up during this time? HHH-Tajiri from Japan was one but a handheld surfaced. There were some Eddy/Rey vs. MNM long 45-min matches I remember hearing about as well.

WWE The Beast In the East Special... Live As It Happens
I can see Vince being introduced to Finn Balor backstage and going "FINN! HUCK FINN! YES DAMMIT THAT'S IT" or "PHINNEAS GODWINN!" And Triple H trying his best to move him along to talk to somebody down the hall.

Modern Indie Wrestling
Who are the guys on the rise that aren't here? Seems like they got all the right mix from the hot areas of interest - US free agents, UK guys, Lucha Underground flyers, and recent ex-WWE guys. I guess PJ Black/Justin Gabriel and maybe Ciampa seeing that despite having been around a while he only debuted there kind of recently.

Biggest Ref Bumps
Thought this topic up after just shitting on some refs in the Microscope thread about Nick Patrick. One of the Hebners took a wickid missile bump to the floor off a Davey shove in the Michaels-Bulldog IYH Beware of Dog.

Nick Patrick: Spotlight Hog
Both or one of the Hebners and the fucking ear piece kill me. There will be a run-in, he'll tell them to get the fuck out, and then immediately go back to holding the ear piece stonefaced and walking around like some guy isn't getting jumped by interference right in front of him.

ROH/NJPW joint shows for May.
Actually Matt Hardy makes sense if Cole can't go.

ROH/NJPW joint shows for May.
Roddy Strong is the shit. Cool to see him still out there while everyone else has moved on. I gotta see him vs Del Rio. I dig the main events for Nights 1, 2, 3 and like Strong-Nakamura for 4 considering never having seen Nakamura and the hype he has. Who does Styles face? Joe would be sweet but looks like Cole. Pretty cool that ROH actually got it done for Styles-Hero, Joe-Briscoe, Strong-Del Rio. To me Styles-Del Rio is the one big match they have still on the table right now, outside of Styles-Briscoe. Not at that level but they missed on a good one with Briscoe-Ciampa. WWE missed the boat on Taven too.

"The Wrong Guy Went Over"
For sure. That was a flat as fuck PPV ending with Snow losing. If I remember right, it wasn't like it was known if that match would be his last date with them. He was that over that it was almost expected he would win there. Douglas was the drizzling shits for me then too. That's really cool if that's his take on it. Considering he won it back like six months earlier and to have to drop it again so quick wouldn't usually be easy to stomach. All their PPVs fell flat after Barely Legal and this was the one where they had the chance to get it right it felt like. They finally did at Heatwave a few months later.

"The Wrong Guy Went Over"
Flair/Luger and that Road Warriors loss in Chicago are the older ones that I remember reading a lot of hate about. HHH at WM2000 is another. That whole match gets shit on but having missed out on that period live, I thought it was a ton of fun having watched it years later blind to its reputation. Ryback-Henry for sure. Was a total WTF and seemed beyond the whole "losing streak" test thing they do with every eventual upper mid-carder the past few years. Whenever the Punk-HHH match comes up, I always think about how they jobbed Austin to Taker in a title match right after WM13. And how he still turned out "alright." Like that could be their excuse to any guy who bitches about their positioning.

Reality era?
It felt like an ROH/Super-Indy style era coming with the RAW after WM30 with Bryan/Shield standing tall and what looked like Cesaro being built in the months prior. Thought they were finally going to run highlight those heavy "workrate" matches on top. Brock like the Morishima in it all. I always felt like WWE would evolve into that style for some short period similar to the 90s with ECW and Attitude Era. Punk not being there for it would have been ironic. There is still a hint of it with NXT so who knows.
-
Reality era?
Reality Era never happened. What examples are there to reflect it besides the Punk promo and maybe the Brock-Cena brawl where he busted him open and they did the Brock promo saying 'This is real.' It went from PG era to the Part-Timer era.

Your Wrestling Pet Peeves/Utter Hatreds
Austin's been saying it on his podcast lately. Fucking painful.

Your confessions as a wrestling fan
I gotta see that. Never watched a Misawa/Kobashi/Kawada/Taue match except for Joe-Kobashi (fucking awesome) and the Hayabusa/Shinzaki tags.
