"Macho Madness: The Randy Savage Ultimate Collection"
Good point made at another board: This is probably just to stick it to Jakks and keep Savage from signing with them for their legends line.

Linda McMahon for Senate catch-all thread
I think we talked about this earlier in the thread but it was never answered: What was her position in the company when she took over Vince's role as president?

The greatest cons in wrestling history
So, where do we rank Wrestlers' Rescue now that it appears to be a giant scam by Dawn Marie?

"Macho Madness: The Randy Savage Ultimate Collection"
They have to cut a separate deal for the non-contract wrestlers. So did Jakks. WWE has to sign off on them, though, so that's why Jakks wasn't able to sign Savage. For what it's worth: - Nikita Koloff has claimed that he was on WWE's no figure list for reasons he's not aware of for a few years until Vince or whoever suddenly had a change of heart. - Jakks released a Bruno figure. Bruno was fine with it because he wasn't dealing with WWE and WWE was fine with it because they don't mind their licensees working with him.

"Macho Madness: The Randy Savage Ultimate Collection"
Mattel is making a Savage figure for the WWE line, and Savage cut a promo with the figure for the WWE/Mattel panel at San Diego Comic Con: http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/inner2.php?id...8&page_id=1 http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/inner2.php?id...1&page_id=1 When Jakks had the license and was producing their Classic Superstars line, WWE would not approve a Savage figure.

Ridiculous quotes from WO.com columnists
The latest Babinsackery. Umm...what?!?! (Also, the latest from Wahlers is not a pay site article, so...yay?)

The Wade Keller Appreciation Thread
That's a very good question and I have no idea what the answer is.

WON 2010
I looked over last year's threads and it sure seemed like he was saying any potential "dual region" candidates could work that way.

Martha Hart Lawsuit
Well, yes, "You fail to entertain, you get fired." sounds like a WWE talking point nobody outside of the company would use.
-
WON 2010
At least he made the regional stuff (theoretically) more clear on this year's ballot. Last year was...awkward. I presume that the new layout means that we don't get any bizarre situations like some Marc Rocco votes being counted for him as a Japanese star.

Martha Hart Lawsuit
I hope you're being facetious, John. Wrestling fans being disturbingly hostile towards Martha Hart is nothing new.

______ is not the same thing as pro wrestling
Live Nation should be on Dave's radar after the Yamma debacle, so that was pretty surprising. Either way, it's a pretty big wrestling bubble moment. Live Nation is pretty ubiquitous nowadays, especially after the Madonna deal and Ticketmaster merger.

Dave Meltzer stuff
Irv praises Keith and me while slamming Dave again.

Dave Meltzer stuff
DSE sued RF and got a huge judgment. Who is The Cancer and how did he set up this deal, anyway?

WON 2010
Noble teaching Michaels his reverse figure four among other things.
-
Dave Meltzer stuff
I dunno, but there's no way they cleared the Japanese stuff with the TV networks that own it.
-
Dave Meltzer stuff
Y'know, it's probably not a very good idea for a shoot interview DVD carrying the Observer name to have bootlegged Japan & Puerto Rico footage on it. I wonder if that will be on the retail version...

Money in the Bank PPV: The Thread
They've strongly implied it at times in the last few weeks.

Money in the Bank PPV: The Thread
I dunno if they'll do that again after the Kennedy injury mess. By the way, it's really amusing how they've retconned the 3rd MITB match to being won by Edge.

WON 2010
I would guess "writer" alongside such esteemed voters as Todd Martin, Dan Wahlers, and a bunch of people who write newspaper wrestling columns or are wrestling fans who happen to write for newspapers (like Houston Mitchell, and I have nothing against him but he clearly has a ballot because he's a legitimate sportswriter who happens to be a wrestling fan). If he's considered a wrestler for the purpose of getting a ballot then I really want HOF voter "Hangman" Bruce Pobanz.
