The Wade Keller Appreciation Thread
Oh Keith I'm guessing he himself never heard anything like that from Waltman but yeah that makes sense.

The Wade Keller Appreciation Thread
Of course, what Sean told Dave and what he told Wade could be two completely different things. That is true, but I don't see the reason for it.

Herb told me when I mentioned the Keller/Jericho jokes and the believed rationale to him.

The Wade Keller Appreciation Thread
BREAKING NEWS: Apparently Sean Waltman has always thought Jericho was awesome.

No. But it was kinda funny.

I tend to think Dave knows who you are and who I am. The Ring of Hell comment would support that. He probably would toss something else at me. John I know, I was kidding, especially in light of the Ring of Hell comment which almost led me to decide against posting that stupid joke here. And while you're here... You've known Dave for years, both as a friend and OMG INTERNET ENEMY. Even at your "worst" at WC and the like, his most heated rebuttals were incredibly tame compared to what he said to me. What the hell happened?

Maybe Dave is losing his eyesight and thought my F4W name was JDW Express.

And now Bryan seems to think that everyone acts exactly like they do on the internet like they do in real life and thus I am "a bit unbalanced" based on a joke post.

Slam! Wrestling article on anti-semitism in pro wrestling
You mean Eddie, right? Floyd (his kid) was more a pseudo-gay persona if I remember right. No, Floyd did lawyer stuff in Memphis.

Slam! Wrestling article on anti-semitism in pro wrestling
I don't know how I didn't until recently, but it was pretty amazing. He's working rabbi/kabbalistic religous leader gimmick not lawyer gimmick. Yeah, Floyd Creatchman did the Jew lawyer gimmick.

Slam! Wrestling article on anti-semitism in pro wrestling
I finally saw a promo of his recently, it makes things even worse.

Bryan Alvarez
Yeah, I found it. I have no idea what he was going on about and why he was so revved about it since I've certainly never had a problem with someone saying Punk had a bad match. I did make a post as a joke where I noted that in the newsletter's SD report, he joked that he hoped Rey talked for awhile so the match would be short, when he raved about their previous match (and thus, didn't really make sense as a joke). But that was it.

Oh geez, what'd he say and when on the show?

How is it that Edge goes back and forth between being awesome and terrible with no middle ground?- Mitsuharu Misawa Passes Away
No, Doc turned babyface because his partner (DiBiase) turned babyface and he got a lot of local mainstream news attention for pulling people from a burning car (Rick Steiner helped, too, but they didn't turn him. I forget if they were able to kayfabe him out of the news coverage).- Comments that don't warrant a thread
The "inexplicable tiny pants" match or the title tournament match?- Wrestling Myth Busters
I remember reading (I think in the Meltzer Eddy Guerrero obit) that Eddy wasn't crazy about playing heel due to all of the bumps a heel in WWE has to take feeding comebacks and whatnot.- Dave Meltzer + not an optimal mood = comic genius
Dave hasn't been this funny in awhile, probably since the potential WWE HOFers story in the Observer a couple years ago with the multiple Von Erich jokes. The relevant excerpts:- Mitsuharu Misawa Passes Away
It does seem fishy but I wouldn't discount it completely. If someone can get heart palpitations from a standard dose of Sudafed then way overdoing the Stacker 2 and whatnot can probably shoot a heart into the ridiculous danger zone that Austin hit, right?- Wrestling Myth Busters
Yeah, just clips are available of Hogan-Lawler, unfortunately. As far as the Mark Henry fat/black/sweaty stuff goes, no, that wasn't towards AnarchistXX. As for the reasoning behind it, there were obviously people with fat guy wrestler bias, in addition to references that criticized his work in part due to sweatyness, and I think I counted any reference to the "stank" gimmick in criticism of ringwork as both sweaty and black based on the nature of the "stank" promos. I don't think I counted explicit uses of the term "sweaty" as "stank" and therefore also black. - Comments that don't warrant a thread
