Tom's TNA workrate reports are some of the best wrestling writing I've seen in a long time. Hot damn.

I LOVE LANCE RUSSELL. Calling an Iron Sheik squash on Worldwide (paraphrased): "He's out there like it's with Salman Rushdie and he's trying to collect the bounty that the Ayatollah put out!"

HHH tore his quad again
I'm pretty sure it's what HTQ said, he's just the best at dealing with that sort of injury (similar to how Lloyd Youngblood has become the WWE go-to guy on spinal issues).

Who is on your ideal booking team?
Sadly, this seems to be what the people who run the business want out of their announcers. Could Mike revert back to being the decent color man that he was at his best in WCW? Beats me. I wouldn't mind giving is a shot since the level of wrestling announcing sucks. He's far, far worse than Ross was when he bottomed out. Angle or whoever will say "I WANT A REMATCH WITH SAMOA JOE!" and Tenay will immediately yell out "ANGLE WANTS A REMATCH WITH SAMOA JOE!"

Who is on your ideal booking team?
Correct. And that goes as an announcer and a booker. Why?As an announcer, he makes lots of constipated faces while screaming what someone just said in a promo. As a booker, well, TNA sucks.

Holy shit Tenay? Just go all the way and pick D'Amore.

The whole point of signing the models is apparently to find fresh meat for Vince to fuck, so it's not really something to fault Laurinaitis for. As far as how he's stayed employed, Meltzer once explained that his specialty is the act of "charming female authority figures" like Motoko Baba & Steph. Read into that what you'd like...

Steroids, HGH, and painkillers, yeah.

80s AJW
Once I get Dan's stuff that Will converted and then sort out what's missing between what we all have, I will try to work on a Stampede set similar to the Punk sets. It will be a little hard to get a handle on what exactly to include because of the way the TV was formatted and how the angles flowed from week to week.

Favorite Hulk Hogan Lies!
It's legit, it's in the new WON.

Kurt Angle on WOL
In fairness, Konnan's not wrestling.

New Kurt Angle article from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette
I don't have the energy and I want to prove that cunt Michrome wrong, so Sek or whoever can do it in my place and DO ME PROUD!

New Kurt Angle article from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette
And from the Pittsburgh Times Dispatch: This time he DOES name amounts of pills while explaining how he was doctor shopping, and then later in the article Dixie Carter puts over his "team of doctors." AWESOME.

WWE 24/7 and/or DVD Hilarity (or "OMG VINCE REWRITES HISTORY)
Sgt. Slaughter: AWA Champion might be my favorite. It will be interesting to see how it's handled on the AWA DVD...

He's doing a new one of Jericho quotes. And C&P the Powell, either it's a members only article or you linked to the version in the members only section.

Favorite Hulk Hogan Lies!
Hulk's first match in Japan was against Riki Choshu. At Freddie Blassie's urging, he shot on him to prove a point and won in 2 minutes. When you factor in production costs and inflation, Hogan's movies were much more successful than The Rock's. As far as the Jake thing goes, there was a separate Snake Pit where Jake DDTed him. It only aired in random markets on Spotlight for some reason. Nobody knows why. I HAVE heard from people that were at one of their few house show matches that Jake was indeed getting a pretty favorable reaction. Now, where's Loss's Keller thread?

My podcast for those who don't frequent other boards
http://davidbix.com/ Bob Barnett and Dave Prazak interviews are up so far. Ex-WWE PA Quest has been interviewed but I have to fix some audio level issues. Next will probably be Scott Williams or Delirious.

Wrestling thoughts that probably don't deserve
While I appreciate that his family was able to work WWE, it's not quite as entertaining overall as "Big Daddy" Bruno Beefcake: http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/search/s_137454.html

M-Dogg 20 is really the worst wrestler name ever, it sounds like someone's random AOL screenname.

Boogeyman = GONE~!
Sure, he's an awful wrestler, but he has such a ridiculous amount of charisma that it's scary.

Del Wilkes is coming out of retirement and working for Doug Ward's TNT Pro as The Patriot. He's said in recent interview that he never sold the gimmick to Tom Brandi. This should not surprise anyone but it's hilarious/awesome.

It's just stacked like a cake box? Geez. Oh, and as far as The Big Event: One would think that if they had any idea they would draw 65,000, then it wouldn't have been a sold show.

The stacked disk packaging isn't just WWE. A lot of TV sets have it now.
