Greatest of All-Time project Interest?
It is the # 1 metric for the WO HOF. This project from how I gather is completely different than the Observer HOF . If their is no footage I don't see how you can vote for someone. So Strangler Lewis shouldn't be on the list via the Microscope point.

Greatest of All-Time project Interest?
I don 't think drawing should enter the equation. If we wanted drawing we could do greatest draws in wrestling. We are doing a best of wrestlers list . To me we should be looking at promos, angles, character work , charisma, and in ring work as the gauge. Obviously some of the stuff people will weigh more than others. Especially if we are looking at foreign wrestlers etc.

2014 Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame thread
I'm always for the straight up method. Anything else seems shady even if your intentions are well meaning.

Greatest of All-Time project Interest?
I'm totally down. I had so much fun doing that in 2006.

Things Wrestlers Value that we don't
I adore Regal, but has he EVER had a match as good as Savage/Steamboat? Steamboat himself was down on the match for years because it was pre-planned, which really comes across as one of those dumb things wrestlers value that don't actually enhance the product in any way. Might explain why Savage drew a boatload of money and Steamer never really did. To say Steamer never really drew big money is pretty off base. In the late. 70's and early 80's he drew money vs Flair, Ivan Koloff, Paul Jones, Wahoo and others with Jay Youngblood against a variety of teams. They drew huge against Slaughter and Kernodle. Look at the Mark James books or History of WWE. Savage drew more but to say Steamboat wasn't 't a draw is wrong .

WWE Network... It's Here
They mention how the old school stuff doesn't do as well as the original programming. Well the original programming does have set times. We know when Legends House was airing, NXT etc. these things are episodic. The older stuff isn't rolled out weekly with a scheduled time. So people can't get in a routine. Just a thought.

Dave Meltzer stuff
Did Meltzer hate it? If so, there's your answer. I thought it was a surprisingly fun match - one of the better matches on the card, truth be told. Meltzer gave it 3 1/4*. I thought it was a real strong match. I'm beginning to feel the people who give feedback to the Observer which I do put more stock into Highspots and the wow factor than actual working a match with a compelling story.
