Another reason the WWE seems so stale right now is they lost the guy they were pushing in Bryan. Then they broke up the 2nd hottest act in the company in the Shield. Another guy getting traction was Barrett and he gets hurt . Also with creative since they don't like to heat up people simultaneously they cooled off Cesaro and then Shemus has cooled off as well. So essentially everyone is mid card for the most.

When he asks Sting about the 88 Flair matches. Ross loses it and goes on a rant about no time limits . So instead Sting answers that the no time limits bother you a lot .

Ross is really just sucking the good out of the Sting interview .

Liked the 81 promotion idea. When the talk was about how do you rate young wrestlers from before their prime. An example was used was Bobby Eaton. For me it depends on the wrestler if it was a wrestler who developed into a good worker he means more to me than a guy who doesn't develope into a good worker. So the guy who is a good worker might have a good under card match. So I don't rate him as high as what he will become, but will rate him that he could have a good match.

If you look at this match from a booking standpoint since neither team are heels, an extended 'face in peril' formula match would turn one side heel over the other, and you don't want that since that's not in the future plans That is really good point.

I'll concede that point. The only thing that Angle and Bo are booked similar they were/are full of shit. Though it was obvious they had long term plans in the booking for Angle to be near the top. For Bo they probably view him in the Santino mold. They might have similarities, but the context is completely different.

Bill ,Angle was a gold medalist destined for a run on top who could go. Bo Dallas is comedy character who isn't a smooth worker. To compare the 2 and how they are/were viewed by the company and not grasp that they are/were being booked differently is just mind boggling to me.

True, but the E doesn't really do this well in recent times. We've seen Cesaro , Sheamus, Ziggler all hit that glass ceiling. It took DB forever to break through. So debuting him with Bo Dallas who is about as mid card as it gets does him no favors.

The company is full of good working mid carders. Why add another one when we can try to make him special.

Now if the goal is to make Zayn a mid card guy that scenario is fine.

Putting him in a feud with Bo screams mid card talent.

It would be a game changer, but you're going to have to have someone to be Cena's foil. Their isn't anyone unless Bryan gets a miracle cure. I think the dynamic would have worked. W/o a baby face ready it won't matter. Hogan and Cena are both totally different dynamics. For it to be a game changer you have to have all aspects of the angle ready to go.

I'm pro a heel turn if they have that babyface ready to go on top and they feud. I don 't think Reigns is ready. So I say wait till you have a guy who can carry the promotion.

I think the main problem with a face NWA champ would I'd be afraid it would make the areas baby faces less important, and in the long run hamper the day to day drawing if the faces in the territory. For this to work I think the booking would have to be really creative. I'm not sure this could have been sustained.
