NWA Wildside
I loved Wildside. A lot of really good workers up and down the card. Some of them didn't look like stars but had really good matches. Jeff G Bailey might be the greatest manager that never made it on the national scene.

Sherri vs. Woman
Sherri hands down. She is a much better worker. She's a manager that can help make a match better by how hard she works on the outside .Their is a reason Hogan loved having her in his programs. She could help young talent get over or adapt to established talent like Savage and Dibiase.

Recommendations for 20 Crockett TV matches to watch
Totally agree the January match is the one to watch.

Buddy Rose !
Just an FYI in Bob Holly's book he puts over Buddy Rose as one of the all time great workers .

[1993-09-19-WCW-Fall Brawl] Ricky Steamboat vs Steven Regal
This really is an excellent match. I feel Meltzer missed the boat on Regal early in his career. You can look at this match and his match with Arn at Superbrawl 94 and gives neither match the praise it deserves. Steamboat had his left ribs taped and Regal just worked those babies over . Of course Steamboat sold the ribs throughout, and this really helped with the story telling of the match. Not to be out done Steamboat does a real good job working over Regal's arm/shoulder. In the early going Regal did sell the arm damage. Later he does shit can the arm work , but it doesn't bother me since their wasn't an angle where Regal hurt his wing. Unlike with Steamer they did an injury angle on his ribs. A spot I loved was Steamer was playing possum and caught Regal in this carny arm lock. We get some nearfalls toward the finish. The actual finish was gold. Dundee was spot on in his timing for. Just an excellent match that told an interesting story.

Where the Big Boys Play #42
I also enjoyed the show.

Where the Big Boys Play #42
This would have gotten over huge. Maybe on occasion you could do fantasy booking on PWO. Just as a change of pace.

Where the Big Boys Play #41
Good show guys. You guys seem to be really hitting your stride . You all seem real comfortable with one another. Ditching the PXP really strengthed the show.

Terrible gimmick, great match
They did the same thing here in Austin at a houseshow . I was shocked at how good the match was and how well the girls played to the crowd. I put it in the never mention this on a wrestling message board file till I saw your post and thought I'd share my experience too.

Big Bossman vs. Haku
I don't know about the bad ass part. When he was Big Bubba Rogers with the MX I thought he was more of a bad ass than Haku as the Studd Stable's body guard. Since both guys were playing the same exact role.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3

[1991-06-22-USWA-Memphis TV] Chris Candido & Don Cha Mang vs Rob Zakowski & Danny Davis
This was really great. It's funny cause it looked like all RVD knew was spots. Still this was neat, and tied into the main show angle.

This segment was awesome. Who cares you could see what was coming a mile away. The big programs in Memphis are presented so well.

[1991-06-15-WCW-Saturday Night] Fabulous Freebirds & Badstreet vs Young Pistols & Dustin Rhodes
The comedy is great here. The count spot is awesome. Hayes and Garvin still have their charisma so they can have a match based on their characters. Even Big Daddy Dink joins the fun and has a moment. Because of the comedy and stalling by the Birds the athleticism by the Pistols really stands out. The bump from the apron to the guardrail by Smothers really resonates as does the punch to Smothers that causes him to do a 180 into a clothesline really rocks the crowd . The best part was the crowd was with the match the whole way.
