[1991-04-06-WWF-Superstars] Jake Roberts and Earthquake
I never understood why they made some of their monsters look like pussy's being afraid of the snake. I guess it's called moving down the card. Quake don't bump into Andre, and BadNews down there.

[1991-04-05-USWA Texas] Jerry Lawler vs Eric Embry (Cage)
I liked this match and thought the work was smart. With that said we really didn't need the cage since we didn't get blood or a bunch of cage bumps. So I agree with Loss in a sense that the match lacked the violence you really need here. The promos didn't bother me because they were talking smack, and were more sound bites than actual promos. Though Lawler did try to start an Erica chant. Both guys were throwing nice punches. Embry's piledriver was a thing of beauty. This lead to Embry just attacking the neck with a variety of stuff. Lawler's strap down was pretty dramatic. Overall, their were flaws in the match that didn't take the match down in my eyes because the work was excellent.

[1991-04-05-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Mitsuharu Misawa vs Kenta Kobashi
This was a real good give and take match with a lot of neat touches throughout. I loved how Misawa used the drop toe hold to get to Kobashi's arm. I saw Steamboat do this with Savage and this was even smoother. Another cool little thing was Misawa attempting atomic knee breakers to escape headlocks. Overall I really liked this.

Pretty much a match to show that Hogan has some mat work he can break out.

I really don't know where the hatred for this match is coming from.

[1991-03-30-WCW-Saturday Night] Lex Luger and Nikita Koloff
I thought the angle was strong. It seemed like they weren't really prepared to shoot this angle properly.

This was pretty funny. The gimmick screams jobber though.

[1991-03-30-WCW-Saturday Night] Tommy Rich vs Arn Anderson
I thought this was a good solid bout. I thought they did a good job milking the drama of it. I liked how Rich would go back to the leg. I liked Sid's interference and thought it set up a nice false finish. When he interfered I was why did he do a leg sweep. Still a good bout that had some interesting work in it. Nothing fancy just smart work .

Leo Burke
From what I have seem from him is that he wasn't flashy , but had a good ideas on what made sense in a match. He is very similar to Bret in that regard. He is also interviewed for Highspots Dynamite documentary.

[1991-03-30-SWS-Wrestlefest] Naoki Sano vs Masakatsu Funaki
I liked this a lot. Both guys were really working hard. The strikes were good, but the stuff on the mat was great. Their was this one spot where Funaki was trying to get Sano's ankle. He couldn't get it but saw the other one wasn't being defended. So he floated over and went for the other ankle.
