[1991-02-16-USWA-Memphis TV] Jerry Lawler vs Eddie Gilbert / Interview: Eddie Gilbert & Eric Embry
I also like the nice touch of Gilbert wearing a Tennessee Vols shirt. Again Memphis is the master of a strong step one that sets up the story they are going to tell. They are also good at step 2 , 3 etc. Again anyone could do a step one, heck Russo was the master at it . Yet he had no follow through, unlike the bookers in Memphis who weave crafted stories.

[1991-02-16-WWF-Superstars] The Dragon vignette
When Steamer came back to the WWF I was legit angry at this stuff . He didn't fit in the WWF. The one thing I wanted out of his run there was a match with Perfect. I never got it. I'm so glad he ended up back in WCW. I feel he could had been pushed harder because he was white hot at the Clash. Still he was able to cement himself as a great worker. FYI Steamboat is my favorite wrestler.

[1991-02-15-USWA Texas] Jerry Lawler vs Eddie Gilbert
Both guys can work different styles of matches, and get over doing them. I wonder what is the process in when they do it. Do they do it for small crowds , when they are tired, when they are banged up? I understand working schtick matches with an opponent who can't go. Both of these guys can so I wish I could understand it more. Again what they did was fun, and the crowd ate it up so I don't mean to shit on it because I was entertained.
