[1994-02-19-SMW-TV] Down and Dirty: The Thrillseekers
This is done pretty well. Storm and Jericho just aren't very good at this stuff yet. They get a huge push out of the gate. I will say after watching a lot of SMW is that the Thrillseekers squashes were a lot of fun. They weren't good on the stick yet. Lance is a natural heel, Jericho with his pandering to the camera makes him a heel. Having Well Dunn as their 1st program was just a bad idea.

[1994-02-20-WCW-Superbrawl IV] Arn Anderson vs Steven Regal
I remember watching this match years ago and thought it was boring as hell. It was probably around 96 when I first saw it, and I was into my Nitro cruiserweight highspot was what I was enjoying at the time. Through the years from watching some 70's style, Lucha , and WOS my tastes have changed. I watched this a while back on the Regal set and was dreading watching it. Well I was wrong. This is a great match. It was tightly worked, told a hell of a story, awesome body part work which I am a huge mark for, and a good finish. I think Regal was a guy that Meltzer and myself didn't quite get when we first saw him. Meltzer calls him a great worker now. I bet if he watched the bout again he would rate it much higher. i know I did.

[1994-02-20-WCW-Superbrawl IV] Sting & Dustin Rhodes & Brian Pillman vs Rick Rude & Steve Austin & Paul Orndorff (Cage)
This could have been more, but what we got was still pretty damn good. Pillman was great here. The structure seemed off to me. Like if we had the Rhodes and Pillman segments witched around and then built to the finish would have been better served. I thought the heels were really good at working Pillman's cut. Orndorff brings an intesnity that is fun to watch. The angle at the end was a nice piece of business to further Sting and Rude feud. Their seemend to be some miscommunication between Sting and Orndorff. Like Sting give Paul enough time to blade. Still I enjoyed the bout at end though it could have been more.

[1994-02-05-SMW-TV] Interview: Dory & Terry Funk
This was tremendous. Dory though seems like he has no idea what time, or year it is. Heck he's reciting TXDM rules like he did in the 70's.

This is awesome. Watching SMW is great at seeing a young talent like Fytch develop an become a superstar. This video is great at getting her over.

[1994-01-29-WCW-Saturday Night] Press Conference: Nick Bockwinkel
I loved this segment. I really wish we would have more of them. Kinda gave wrestling a real edge. Something that would be kinda cool nowadays would to do post fight conferences like UFC except worked angles. I guess they would need to have a clear path where they are going which isn't WWE booking nowadays.
