[1994-02-05-SMW-TV] Rock & Roll Express vs Heavenly Bodies
A good little bout. I was hoping for a bloody brawl coming off the Paul Morton angle.

[1994-01-22-WWF-Superstars] The Undertaker and Paul Bearer vignette
I personally thought Taker made this vignette with his menace.

[1994-01-22-SMW-TV] Down and Dirty: Heavenly Bodies
This was just a great angle. In a hot territory this angle would have drawn huge. All the little stuff was great, and the best part is that it isn't even Paul Morton in all of this. It was Mark Curtis that was laid out. With some creativity and good camera angles they don't have to give Paul Morton a payoff.

[1994-01-22-WWF-Superstars] Interview: Bret & Owen Hart
Owen as the ultimate babyface is awesome. I also loved his subtle digs.

[1994-01-14-WAR] Genichiro Tenryu vs Shiro Koshinaka
Again we get a good bout between the 2. Just a good stiff bout. Tenyru is a stud.

[1994-01-15-WCW-Saturday Night] Steve Austin vs Brian Pillman
I thought this was a blast. I'm a fan of limb work and this had it in spades. I thought Austin could have sold better. I dug Pillman's spinng drop toe hold. The transition from Austin to Pillman taking control was tremendous. I guess those 2 learned a lot from Arn Anderson. Again you wish we got another 5 or 6 minutes.

[1994-01-17-WWF-Raw] The Undertaker and Yokozuna
Overall a pretty effective segment. Though I'm not a fan of making the monster heel afraid of things. Yokozuna and the casket, Kamala and the Iron claw, Andre and Snakes etc.

[1994-01-15-WWF-Superstars] Update: Owen's not happy!
They do a good job of reminding us that Bret is the way bigger star, and Owen is in his shadow. I'm loving the build here to the turn.

[1994-01-22-WCW-Saturday Night] Ric Flair & Sting & The Boss vs Steve Austin & Rick Rude & Ron Simmons
Just a fun 6 man tag. Again I thought Austin was the best worker in here, The Boss looked pretty great as well. Even with Rude being a fraction of him self his facials and selling of the atomic drops almost steal the match. We got some real good brawling and it was heated and built to a good finish with a clusterfuck at the end. Good stuff.

[1994-01-14-WWF-San Jose, CA] Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon (Ladder)
I enjoyed the heck out of it. Kinda dug the early psychology of HBK working over Razor's back. HBK does a great job of pinballing for Ramon. Both guys are great at the near climbs. Some of HBK's bumps off the ladder were kinda samey, but still cool. I dug how we got a wrestling match that built to the ladder spots. This is more similarly worked to the SMW series with Smothers and Candido than the Wrestlemania bout.

[1994-01-11-WWF-Florence, SC] 1-2-3 Kid & Marty Jannetty vs The Headshrinkers
This is the epitome of a fun tag match. I did like this better than the title change on Raw. Jannetty and Kid are just so awesome here in their selling and high energy offence. Not to take anything away from the Samoans as they were tremendous. I liked Gorrilla's call of Kid's inexperience was causing Jannetty to take a beating. Hated that Gorrilla predicted a short rain for the faces. Just a great way to bury them instead of building them up.

[1994-01-11-WWF-Florence, SC] Bret & Owen Hart vs Rick & Scott Steiner
Pretty excellent match that didn't have a great structure but told an interesting story. It was cool to see them work the mat and throw big time suplexes. Their was a lot of neat high spots, and criss cross spots that kept this real interesting. I thought the pull apart at the end was a cool touch and a way to build some rematches if the promotion wanted to go this way. Just a tad below the 1/4/94 dome show match.

Extreme Rules
I'm pretty shocked with the result of the main event. I thought Lesnar was going to get the Hogan in WCW push from 1994. Though the WWE is weird. I hope they don't pull an Invasion on Lesnar.

[1994-01-08-SMW-TV] Music Video: Dirty White Boy
After watching a ton of SMW recently DWB was a real standout. He could work, and talk. He was such a strong talker you feel if given the opportunity he could have gotten over in WCW or WWF. I know he didn't have a great look, but man he was a great talker. SMW was filled with guys who's careers got killed because of a lack of the territories. Fun music video. Not a great one but good.

[1994-01-08-WCW-Worldwide] Interview: Ric Flair
Even cleaned up he looks like he was in a war, and a bit shell shocked from the war with Vader. I thought Gene kinda hurt this. I felt he should have been a bit more low key. Still good stuff.
