  1. It's a shame they really didn't have a true vision for Hart as champ. Still Flair is # 1 on the list.
  2. shoe replied to rovert's topic in Megathread archive
I thought the doc was emotional and real. They really did a great job here. I don't know how you could possibly follow this up with another one that could reach the emotions. Still I think as a series this could be good.
  3. It's cool. It took me some time to get into lucha, but I eventually grew to love it. There are some mat-based matches I think you'll find amazingly easy to enjoy later on the set that might shift your perception. Lucha matwork was always something I liked, but trios matches confused me for a while. Still, it's nice that you were at least open-minded enough to watch it even though you're generally not a fan of the style. There is an Atlantis/Emilio Charles match later on the set that's basically laid out like an Arn Anderson match that I think you'll enjoy quite a bit. That is a real strong comparison especially with the arm work.
  4. Having a Jim Ross call this would have added a lot. Also didn't dig the 1st man up is the winner finish. Both guys worked hard, and bled buckets. A really strong bout.
  5. A fun little bout. Dustin is such a chameleon as a worker. He can stand tall and go toe to toe with a monster, and then get small and sell his ass off. His skills are showcased here.
  6. I thought the segment was a nice piece of business in a step one in the build to the match. At the final stretch not so much.
  7. I thought this was a pretty fun match with a good story and a lot of energy. I thought this would be a fair comp to the Windham/Rude bout. More flashy than that one, but not as gritty. I liked the Rude bout slightly better. In both bouts their is some nice back work.
  8. Sullivan was mesmerizing here. Plus I enjoyed his brawls with the Stomper. Armstrong fires off another dandy of a promo.
  9. I thought the angle was awesome. The interview was great. Still I don't think you can heat up the Moondogs. They had an amazing run here. It's time to move.
  10. Just a really strong meat and potatoes match. Rude w/o a mustache is wrong. Rude's facials were great here. Finish was a tad off. Still a good match with a real strong psychology.
  11. Jake was tremendous here. Hell he was even awesome as on color.
  12. This was awesome. Hell even a camera man tries to make the save.
  13. The black and white Bret,Owen, and Stu reenactment was great.
  14. Champion looks like a million bucks, but just lacks charisma, and his timing sucks. I bet though he could have developed both if the territories were still in play.
  15. Iron Man Match: Jeremy Wyatt vs. Mark Sterling 1/7/11
  16. I thought this was well done and sounded special. Just that the promotion has run plenty of tournaments this year.
