[1992-10-03-WCW-Worldwide] Rick Rude & Bobby Eaton & Arn Anderson vs Sting & Rick & Scott Steiner
I liked this. The bullshit stuff was done real well. Seeing Scotty as FIP was pretty good. I don't buy Sting's face plant as a finisher, and it was weird that the Steiners didn't do any of their hot moves.

[1992-10-03-WCW-Saturday Night] Cactus Jack & The Barbarian training
Barbarian is a total beast. I always thought Barbarian should be pushed higher on the cards, though this is a gigantic leap.

Best U.S. Worker Of The 80's?
Tito has good matches v. Orton, Reed and Orndorff but I don't know that I've ever even seen a Steamer match against one of those guys so I don't really have a thought on that. Don't recall either guy doing anything of note v. Honky. I know Steamer worked Reed. Steamer had a match that was rated pretty high on the DVDVR WWF 80's set with Orton. The match also shows up on his WWE DVD that came out a couple of years ago. He also had some of HTM best matches. They weren't great, but I would rate them slightly behind Funk's work with JYD as a comparison.

[1992-10-03-WWF-Superstars] Bob Backlund feature / Interview: Razor Ramon
I thought the Backlund thimg was kinda cool. Though you really don't believe in him at this stage in the game. When he 1st returned it was like where has he been all these years? The background segment here helped to try to reestablish him. Still he was too bland for the 90's as a face.

[1992-09-26-WCW-Saturday Night] Dustin Rhodes vs Jake Roberts
This is a text book Jake match. Don't get me wrong Dustin brought a lot to the table too. Just a basic match that told a story. I wish these guys could have worked a program. I also like Bruno's line when Ross mentioned how Jake tricked Dustin with the leg injury. While Bruno goes Dustin wasn't tricked, it was the ref. In one line Bruno saved our babyface from becoming stupid. I wish Jake could have hung around. Their was a ton of faces for him to work with.

[1992-09-26-USWA-TV] Interview: Jimmy Hart / Interview: Dream Warriors
Jimmy Hart was gold. You can see a little bit of Brian Christopher in Jimmy Hart. Dream warriors were horrid.

Best U.S. Worker Of The 80's?
The reason being in the 80's the guys legit worked 8+ years out of the 10 or more. In the 90's a lot of the great workers from the 80's were getting injured, getting old like Steamboat or Flair or the landscape changed in 95 or so and smaller guys who were great workers were getting shots in the states like Guerrero,Misterio, etc who never would have gotten a chance to shine in the past.

That piledriver was nasty. Looked like Austin's knee buckled.

[1992-09-19-SMW-TV] Ron Garvin and Paul Orndorff
The actual angle is great. Their was no give in that towel when Orndorff hung Garvin. Now the premise is stupid.

[1992-09-15-SWS] Ric Flair vs Genichiro Tenryu (2/3 falls)
Holy cow was this a match. Very similarly worked if he was wrestling Wahoo or Garvin. This was stiff. Being pro shot really made this match blow away the one from earlier. I loved Flair's mat work. How he worked over Tenyru's leg. If Flair would have done this in the title change with Savage that would have put that match in a much better light. Their were a couple of missteps, but nothing that hurt the bout much. Flair was great at jawing with the crowd. Even the 3rd fall finish came across as good and put the title over. Tenyru looked so desperate to get Flair in the ring before the 10 count and win the title. Just great stuff from 2 legends.
