2011 Observer Hall of Fame thread
When I was listening to the show I thought the same thing. I think you can make a better argument for him than Dundee based off his drawing in Georgia. Being one of the 1st national stars.

[1992-05-17-WCW-Wrestle War '92] Brian Pillman vs Tom Zenk
I've always liked this match and I'm glad it held up. Ventura in disbelief that Pillman was a NT in college was great.

[1992-05-16-FMW/UWA/WWA] El Hijo del Santo & Atsushi Onita & Tarzan Goto vs Negro Casas & Horace Boulder & Tim Patterson
I loved this bout. Santo was on fire. Casas was amazing. The brawling on outside was fun and made the work that Casas and Santo doing on the inside standout even more. This was a clusterfuck but in an awesome way. Plus the crowd here is super hot.

[1992-05-17-NJPW-Super Heavy Crush] Riki Choshu vs Keiji Muto
I enjoyed this. The selling of struggle was great. Agreed it had a total old school feel to it. Towards the finish, they seem slightly off, but still a good match.

It was alright. Casas and Santo looked so great. Onita's look at the finish was priceless.

[1992-05-14-UWA] El Hijo del Santo vs Espanto Jr
The mat work is done well. Seeing Santo do the job was cool. That mat is pretty filthy, which adds to the charm. I thought it was an excellent match.

Ric Flair (sigh)
That was a total train wreck to read. PLus his beatings that both his sons take from old school wrestlers. I believe it was Ole who punched David at a convention a few years back. This year it was the Raging Bull call Reid a crackhead and smacking him around. Only in wrestling where former co workers start fights with your sons. I can safely say I have never even been close to be punched by my Dad's former co workers.

Matt Hardy fired by TNA after DWI arrest
Another thing I find crazy is people are saying TNA should tell Jeff to stay home. SO HE CAN TAKE CARE OF MATT. So one addict can take care of another addict.
