Biggest fall from grace
Eh, I keep thinking this thread is more about specifically the fall from grace on the roster than in personal lives and such.

Biggest fall from grace
Last guy I can think of (maybe besides Del Rio currently) who pulled of the suits was Batista. I forget which match it was for the build-up for but he came out in a grey number with sunglasses. Besides the flashy suit (something he probably gleaned off from being with Flair), he gave off a heavy vibe of intimidation. He looked more like Tom Sizemore in the bank shootout in Heat than he did a pro wrestler.

R.I.P> Matt Bourne
Man, they should have had Undertaker do a program with Doink instead of Jorge. It would largely be a homage to the Batman/Joker dynamic but it could have worked in a pro wrestling setting.

What do you consider to be the most prestigious title?
It also had international prestige to some extent too.

Current WWE
I don't believe one iota the low rating will affect Bryan much. When two of your top talents (hometown guys or not) probably spent more time watching the game than the show, they would have had to know how huge the game was.

[1991-04-22-WWF-MSG, NY] Roddy Piper vs Ted DiBiase
Don't know if this was intentional or not but it's funny how they almost made Bobby a face in MSG around this time. Really sad you guys didn't include the Haku/Barbarian vs. Fuji/Kato match from July, with Bobby acting as both manager and announcer.

[1996-07-07-WCW-Bash at the Beach] Sting & Lex Luger & Randy Savage vs Scott Hall & Kevin Nash & Hulk Hogan
As far as Heenan, you would have had to know that his character had a particular hatred for Hogan in his WWF career, from the tone in which he said that now (for silly reasons) infamous line. Even from the very beginning, I believe his first promo was that Big John Studd would beat Hulk for the belt. And as Bobby pretty much was on auto-pilot in WCW, to hear him say such a thing didn't register as giving the plot away. I didn't watch the PPV, because our cable company didn't start carrying WCW PPV's every month until later that year. I first saw the segment I believe on the following week's edition of Worldwide. Even then I didn't give the line much credence.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
Yes. They said on Twitter they placed a Trading Places one-dollar bet over the Cup.

There's an episode of Top Gear (UK) where the three guys go to Romania and at some point get lost in what is described as "Borat country". At one point their cars are surrounded by gawking locals and kids. One of them writes "John Cena" on one of the dustier parts of one of the cars.- Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
They keep the original masters of stuff they overdub (entrance music and such) right?- Current WWE
I like what they're doing with Del Rio as a heel now. They're playing up the more vicious side of the character as opposed to the Mexican fatcat part of it.- Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
That is cool and all, but Jesus they need some stronger shelves!- Ric Flair (sigh)
Did it ever air or has it been canned since Reid died?- Shoots Review and Preview thread
Jim hasn't done anything with them since the '97 Timeline, and I know it's *not* because KC isn't interested in doing anything with him. Then if that's the case then fine, they have certainly gotten enough out of Jimbo anyway.- Shoots Review and Preview thread
What happened? "Cornette has had a falling out with __________" is something you can pretty much set your watch to. http://www.infinitecore.ca/superstar/index...?threadid=74987 Thread that Mike and El-P were referring to. I wouldn't say that that is necessarily a falling out with KC. He worded it as such that buried Russo without putting too much on them.- Shoots Review and Preview thread
He seems to be a different guy since he left WWE. More bitter, even when he's not explosive. If you watch his RF shoot you'll get what I mean. He's full-on pissed when he talks about Russo et al. but he switches to a more welcoming persona pretty easily.- WWE acquires the Watts video library
Plus I don't think Vince would have ever allowed Ted to do a photo shoot without his ring wardrobe of a nice suit.- WWE acquires the Watts video library
It must be from 87 or 88 though when his hair was lighter.- WWE acquires the Watts video library
There is a repost from JR's blog in the previous page that includes chapter names. Presumably these could just be interviews about the subject of each chapter, and not a fully-formed documentary like they've done before.- WWE acquires the Watts video library
He posted a list of extras and it seems they are including interviews from Jim Cornette. - Wrestling in unusual contexts
