Vince McMahon Biopic in the works
Danny Huston would be a good choice

WWE Network... It's Here
One of next month's collection features Ric Flair matches and segments largely from 1982 up until 1991. There is a match dated 6/29/1991, with him and Scott Hall as the Diamond Studd against Bobby Eaton and Yellow Dog.

WWE Network... It's Here
I noticed on one of the new Prime Time's, that the "Superstars Of Wrestling" logo is still blurred.

Vince McMahon Biopic in the works
It's a small difference. But what my thinking is is that this would feel like the origin story to the character on television, if there was never a Vince McMahon behind it.

Listening to Bruce bury Marc Mero was satisfying.

Is that an Italian name? The funniest case of mispronunciations I can think is when Jesse Ventura keeps calling Islander Tama "Toma", and Gorilla corrects him.

Vince McMahon Biopic in the works
I read some more on reddit. Someone remarked that it could have been a fake script sent to MLW. If it is the real deal I am sure Vince and WWE Films will change it. Linda is described as very sexual and that Vince meets her at a strip club. It feels more like the Mr. McMahon backstory than Vince's.

WWE Network... It's Here
Quite honestly, just judging from what I saw of the pre-show (which I jokingly thought it was smart of them to put him on the side of the panel), I really didn't notice him acting weird at all. I think the issue of the current format clashing with the format as it was when he was active, can certainly be a problem with not just him but others too.

Vince McMahon Biopic in the works
Offerman as Ole Anderson would be excellent. JK Simmons as Verne Gagne. Michael Fassbender would make a good Vince, though I suspect he'll lay off bio pics after playing Steve Jobs.

Vince McMahon Biopic in the works
Considering his openness in the Playboy interview and elsewhere, I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't as sanitized as some of us might assume it will be. The casting news (and reactions from both wrestling and movie fans) for this will be quite amusing to watch. My "Wrestler/Actor" thread will probably get quite popular again for this reason. Just off the top of my head I'd like to see the woman who played the Nancy Grace surrogate in Gone Girl to play Linda.

Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard
I didn't even make it that far in the Owen episode. I knew he wouldn't bring up the death, plus his voice sounded too sick for me. I don't blame him for not talking about it, but at least doing a tribute to him is fine instead.

[1994-07-24-WCW-Saturday Night] Dusty and Dustin Rhodes
I was watching the official WWE doc on Dusty today and this promo came up. So sad that not that long after this they didn't speak for several years. I'm learning the value of the time we have left with our parents, as a man in his mid-30's who wishes he had all the more time with them when it counted. Fortunately one has always come through. One hasn't always, and now the time left there may be limited. Time that I might be taking for granted on how limited it actually is, they could very well both be gone tomorrow. It really wasn't the clip of this promo in the doc that got to me, but the look on Dustin Runnels' face when he talks about those years they weren't talking. It's a pain I know, but have probably kept it too deep inside. If nothing else, moments like this promo touch on how wrestling can (or, given where it stands now, could) be cathartic. Yeah, it's pre-determined, silly and lives firmly among the lowest common denominator. But sometimes it rises above, and when it does, it's beautiful.

WWE's "Unseen Matches" DVD
Interesting idea for a release. Even more interesting to me is how the home video division is still putting out stuff regularly, as opposed to feeding everything to the Network. That would be my guess.

Yeah, there was nothing particularly insightful about that one. But the leading topic in this week's Twitter poll is about the In Your House show where the power went out.

His Dusty is immaculate. His Vince is good, not exact but he gets the energy down. His Patterson sounds Italian rather than Quebecois. He gets the energy right on others, even if the voice isn't exact. His Johnny Ace on the Piper show was hilarious.

If I never hear his Cornette impression again, it will be too soon.

I agree it's not worth the time, at least until they get around to working on putting actual Superstars/Challenge episodes up.

WWE Network... It's Here
There are still old PPVs and things where you can hear "WWF" bleeped out of the audio.

WWE Network... It's Here
I believe it's been resolved. I watched one of the episodes that had a Superstars of Wrestling match and the logo went unblurred.

Mauro and JBL
Sports Illustrated on this now. This feels a bit like a "smoke, but no fire" kind of situation, but given his past rep, maybe it's all about to come down on him, and WWE, in the larger frame of things. I really don't know how they could fire him, especially since Trump just congratulated him for something on Twitter.

WWE Network... It's Here
They usually put up 10-20 minute previews when it's about to come out on DVD/Blu-ray. The whole thing might go up eventually, once enough time has passed from the release date.

Does anyone have any idea why the Jake Roberts documentary that they produced is not on the Network yet?
