- Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?
WWE doing anything with TNA's library seems strange to me. It's mostly because they never recognized them as competition unlike they did for WCW. With the exception of people like Samoa Joe, Styles and others who weren't in WWE before, it would feel as if every Hollywood studio started buying up DVD rights to all the Bollywood versions of their movies and put them out in North America, with regard to WWE trying to market that library to their audience that wouldn't have been otherwise familiar or would have cared about TNA.- Shoots Review and Preview thread
The Monday-morning quarterback in me thinks Vince must have watched Live Aid and got the inspiration for it from that. Vince does have these big ideas, but if you scratch the surface a little it seems like it's always borrowed from something else. I think it's why they still celebrate the Attitude Era, because for once they were a little ahead of the curve in terms of pop culture.- Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard
What was Prichard's previous podcast like? Is it still out there?- WWE Network... It's Here
I hope they do a full doc on Bruno someday.- [1998-01-26-WCW-Nitro] NWO argues

They have those every year. He could mean a card with all or mostly Survivor Series matches.- [1988-11-24-WWF-Survivor Series] Powers of Pain & Hart Foundation & British Bulldogs & The Rockers & Young Stallions vs Demolition & Jacques & Raymond Rougeau & Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard & The Bolsheviks & The Conquistadors (Elimination)
In my mind, probably the best Survivor Series match ever. You have a lot of tag teams who for that time that defined in the late 80's, not just the WWF, but the AWA and Crockett as well. It's about everything you'd ever want from a tag team match multiplied by 5.- 6 replies

It also explained the origins of Sean Mooney, so I know that must have pleased you Jerry. I liked it a lot, but wasn't bowled over by it entirely. I was interested in how they initially developed Raw as a show done in their studios before going to the Manhattan center. Hopefully this is discussed more in a later episode. It's looking like the next episode will be about Bruce's time in TNA.- Raw v Smackdown Survivor Series match
I'm actually going to watch the show, despite not watching anything else since WM. I'm just glad they brought back the old-school format.- Wrestlers and twitter
Kevin Pollak said the perfect thing about Twitter as far as being a celebrity, that basically you can take in all these accolades from fans at a safe enough distance, and when someone hates on you you can either block them or RT to your fans who will proceed to pounce on said hater. I don't know how far the medium should be pushed if we're talking about getting heat and such. Especially in such a tense environment as this anyway (and WWE for the time being has made no endorsements of Trump, though you know Vince is probably dying too).- Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard
Jesse could have known the direction Slaughter was going in while he was still with the company, and suggested it just before he was gone. This was during a time when they planned things way in advance, so it could have played out that way.- Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard
I was/am not a huge ECW fan but I found the trolling a little annoying, because WWE still uses "bingo halls" as code for indie wrestling.- The Steve Austin Show

Bret Hart knocked the Freebirds' induction, saying they never did anything in WWE... I'll give him credit for saying guys like Rude, Demolition and the Rougeaus should be in but he obviously either doesn't get or doesn't care for the fact that it inducts people for their work outside Vince's employment.- WWE Network... I wouldn't be surprised if it's just people within the McMahon's inner circle that votes on who gets in or not. Not even in-ring talent.- WWE Network... It's Here
I think classic content will always keep being added. They seem to be wishy-washy about it but they'll come around eventually. I really wish, with regards to the classic stuff, that what they had done from the beginning was just add stuff incrementally every week or every two weeks instead of just throwing it on whenever.- WWE Network... It's Here
Those are reasonable options. Make the free version just a stream of the live network, 4.99 for limited access to the On-Demand content, 9.99 for everything, and 14.99 for the HOF vote. Though I would never take the HOF option, it would be a wasted vote and a waste of money.- GOAT music debate stuff
