More was put up on the Network lately, though not in it's entirety. Considering their money troubles, putting out something like this on video or airing it on TV wasn't as viable as it would be a decade later. Arnold Skaaland's whole bit about Shane taking over for Vince is weird to watch now to say the least. I liked Monsoon's speech, funny and touching at the same time. Sad to hear him talk about his kids considering Joey would die just weeks later. -
Under the Hall of Fame show folder. Down at the end, sorted by years, even though Gene Okerlund and Renee Young portions were probably done last week! They aren't on on my end. I use a Sony Blu-ray player to watch.

If you told me once WCW was bought out that he'd be a top guy and main event WrestleMania I probably would have laughed in your face. I knew how good he was in the ring, and that he probably would have a career once he came but never expected that he would get as far as he did. How he grounded his style was quite the transformation, but he was no less exciting to watch.

There was a laziness to the intricacies of wrestling during the Benoit thing that if applied to any other big story like that would have gotten people fired.

Mixed feelings on that one. Matt's right, but with me it's more who isn't in sometimes. This case being one of them. Demolition would have been a better choice. The glaring omission as far as tag teams now are the Bulldogs.

I'm just wondering how Tate managed to run a strip club, a drug empire and managed to be a cop at the same time.

There's also all the straight-up racist flyers he would paint for his Memphis shows.
The "tension" between Mongo and Heenan was the worst part of it for me. McMichael's insults are all the same, and Heenan doesn't have many smart comebacks like he would have in the WWF. It's no secret he didn't like working there now and stuff like this is easy to see why. For some reason I thought Flair/Sting was the first match. This is nowhere near Liger/Pillman in '92 as Brian is showing serious rust and wear and tear from his injuries now. The handshake at the end surprised me, especially without the sneak attack later that would be so commonplace in both companies.
Luger as the ultimate tweener during this time was an interesting experiment, but it's good that they would do away with that and make him a total babyface during the NWO run. The match with Hogan was good, though it felt like a regular TV match of the time and not what would become standard eventually during the MNW.
