Triple H just announced that the Ultimate Warrior passed away
Beyond shock I'm not quite sure how to feel. I grew up a fan, despised him later for his ultra-right wing bullshit, and things I'd read about him in books about how disrespectful he was to people around him when he was on top. A lot of this was rolling through my mind when I watched his speech, and I tweeted a few things expressing that. By no means do I gain any happiness from his death, but I'm not going to fall into avoiding all the negative stuff when I think about him now.

Triple H just announced that the Ultimate Warrior passed away
The timing of it makes me think suicide, but someone here posted in the HOF thread that they were seriously worried he was going to die right there in the middle of his speech.

It's downright spooky.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
Yeah, I was surprised not to see it on the Yearbook. Nick and Verne refusing to shake Gene's hand was cool too.

WrestleMania 30 (Yes! yes! yes! Yes!)
Paul looked a lot better than I thought he would by now. I heard he'd been having health problems but I read a little interview with him this weekend where he said he was fine, weighing 195 lbs now.

Was it really a face promo though?

WWE Network... It's Here
I wonder how WWE is going to take advantage of the news that HBO Go went tits-up after the Game of Thrones premiere crashed it.

WWE Network... It's Here
Now to wait impatiently for every SNME and Clash to arrive.

WrestleMania 30 (Yes! yes! yes! Yes!)
I remember when they had both the Spanish and French tables on Raw every week.

The Undertaker: Now what?
They're just going to use Steve as a talking head for his career, WCW in general, and eventually the Hall of Fame. I'm fine with that As for the question posted, I think this it. For the last 2-3 years I had a creeping suspicion we were getting closer to the end. Regardless of match quality, he couldn't have picked a better night to do it. Last night really felt like a changing of the guard, and for the streak and effectively his career to end felt appropriate to both the character and the man's character and loyalty. This also poises Brock as Bryan's next major obstacle and possibly a huge money-maker for WWE if they set it up right.

I think that was Bryan's sister and his niece.

I did too a little until I heard that it took 5 officials to carry it inside the ring.

WrestleMania 30 (Yes! yes! yes! Yes!)
I'm glad they went with Bryan/HHH opening like I thought they might would have. It's the only thing that could have followed the summit that opened the show.

WrestleMania 30 (Yes! yes! yes! Yes!)
The streak ending, and how a lot of us were shocked by it, must have been what it felt like when Koloff beat Bruno. Even if it is just a fraction of what it was like that night in 1971, it was an amazing moment to watch.

WrestleMania 30 (Yes! yes! yes! Yes!)
The best Hall of Fame ceremony, followed up by what I must say is the best WrestleMania I've seen since 13. For someone who is as tuned out of the product as I am, there were a few moments where the matches had me completely in awe and leaning in my seat. If this is what usher's Paul and Stephanie (maybe Shane too?) in as the braintrust, I think we're going to see a vastly improved product. I hope so anyway.

Watched through my brother's PS4, btw.

WrestleMania 30 (Yes! yes! yes! Yes!)
That was the most surreal 3-count I've ever seen.

WWE Network... It's Here
Audio was sketchy during the last hour of the pre-show, but everything was crystalline once the show started. Indeed a homerun for the company, one that I am grateful that they have achieved.

Punk Walks Out of WWE
Someone spotted Punk at a Blackhawks game going on today. Definitely not in NOLA.

WWE Network... It's Here
It's been working great for me. There was only one hiccup during the HOF, which was solved by clicking on the Network logo on the top left corner of the screen.
