WWE Network... It's Here
Ventura and Capetta are everywhere. As is Michael Buffer.

WWE Network... It's Here
Hopefully all hands will be on deck to make sure this goes smoothly. I want this to succeed because it's a venture not worthy of being taken down by these kinds of problems.

[1993-12-06-WWF-Raw] Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon
I think that's accurate. There is frankly a depressing feeling I get watching the company from this period. The chips began to fall a few years before, but by this time it was really apparent how much of the soul was lost as you put it. Them losing Bobby was more of a blow to the product then Gene, because Bobby was the perfect foil for Vince and Gorilla. To me the real sad thing is what Bobby would say later in interviews, that the only guy on the roster who came up to him to say he was sad to see him go was Owen.

Ric Flair (sigh)
His hair is literally tragic now.

Sting vs. Lex Luger
Since he hasn't been brought up here, who of the two do you think Flair had better matches with? I've actually seen way more of his matches with Sting, specifically from the first Clash and GAB '90, I also remember their matches on Saturday Night from '96 which are stellar from memory. I've heard Ric put over Lex's conditioning in his shoot, and saying they had some okay matches.

Wrestler/Actor
Just looked up Bret Hart's wikipedia page, and it said he played a prison inmate in Natural Born Killers but his scene was cut. Has anyone else heard this? I wouldn't be too surprised if it happened considering the Tatanka bit in the movie.

Watching the Legends Of Wrestling roundtable about awful characters. Dusty cracks me up a few times, especially the "three for them, two for me" bit.

Do you hide being a pro wrestling fan?
I don't hide it much either. Me and my brother were tandem marks as kids so pretty much all of my family knows. My last girlfriend has become a huge fan (not through me) and the one before that said her father did some construction work for Vince, Sr. so on that front I've never really had to hide it either. I worry more about explaining my taste in complicated rock and jazz music to women.

I have to say, this is so good I'm in fear I'll forget the Hannibal premiere tonight.

WWE Network - Unadvertised features
Isn't there one on Regal coming, or is that going to be full-length? I hope it's something more extensive, I loved his interview on Austin's podcast and got a glimpse of his announcing abilities on NXT tonight.

Current WWE
The triple threat match happens, Punk goes over and Hogan (as I suggested earlier) comes out and makes a match with him and Bryan, in which the smarks pop huge and Bryan goes over.

WWE Hall of Fame 2014
Having a woman at Brock's side would just seem weird, and against the character they've been trying to create since he has come back. Then again a pen through the hand hasn't helped that much either so what do I know.

WWE Network... It's Here
I imagine they'll put up shows from the 70's as well. They already have a few up on the VOD and aired one from '75 on the live feed last night.

The sections themselves have been a bit off lately, unless you go to specific events.

Current WWE
The way I see it, it wouldn't really matter if Punk was on his game or not for the lead-up. If he's somehow added to the Batista/Orton match, it'll add greater anticipation to it than what we're seeing now. And AFAIK, I wouldn't be too surprised if it was Punk's last hurrah if it were to go down like this.

"Superstars Of Wrestling" is not blurred out from what I've seen.

WWE Network... It's Here
Did it say anything about the shows from Boston, Philadelphia and Toronto?

Current WWE
I was thinking about this last night. If what you're suggesting happen, happens they could absolutely salvage Orton/Batista if they put Punk in and have it be a Triple Threat match.

I gotta admit, the Mattel/Brodus Clay commercial BTS segment is quite charming.

Dustin looks a lot like Jim Norton these days.

That's possible, but meddling with the Mania card during the show just seems so... wrong. If they do go that route I hope they would announce it beforehand. It makes a little sense to me because I don't think Hogan would be part of the show like that without doing something, and maybe rightfully so.

Current WWE
My brother seems to think Hogan will make the match as the host of the show (much like how Rock meddled with the main event when he hosted) that allows Bryan to win the title.

I agree. I got a kick out of that match, remembering when the NAO called the Road Warriors "OLD" back in '97. Karma's a bitch.
