I am not sure how much is out there, but fuck is the Spoiler good in that Wahoo match and we might need to investigate him further

Night of Champions Thread.
I actually don't mind Jericho if the gimmick is that the Ambrose and Reigns are going to bring in a bunch of different guys who are going to fail until they reform the Shield

I dunno about that, Stroman is pretty fucking huge, he dwarfs Reigns

I would have rather had B-Boy when he jumped into the ring

It was fun, but man did Killer Brooks poop up the match, he is the fucking worst. The one with Fritz Von Erich is really great although it doesn't have a finish

For folks who loved Spoiler v. Wahoo, I found a clipped house show match between the two on youtube Lots of great stuff in this one too, although its mostly clipped except the last six minutes, Wahoo takes a crazy bump in the corner, they do some very cool stuff with Wahoo fighting out of the claw including a judo throw with Spoiler getting dumped but hanging on, and all of the great chops and clubbing forearms you would expect. Finish was very cool, with Wahoo pulling off the Spoilers mask at the same moment as the Spoiler pulling off the refs shirt to shield his face. This feels like a legendary feud, I hope some more of it turns up.

[1984-11-23-Houston Wrestling] Butch Reed & Jim Duggan vs Steve Williams & Ted DiBiase
Really fun big hoss brawl. Crowd is going nuts and the announcer needs to ask the crowd to move back. Pretty much punches and football tackles but these are great guys to watch throw punches and football tackles. Duggan has such great energy in these kind of matches, and DiBiase does a good job flopping

I want to add my voice to the chorus of praise for Wahoo v. Spoiler. Reviewed it over at Segunda Caida Price Tag Review Maybe my favorite new match we have seen from this project. Loved every second of it.

[1979-04-21-Houston Wrestling] Wahoo McDaniel vs The Spoiler
Awesome 2 out 3 falls war. Very cool match structure which actually reminded me of MS1 v. Sangre Chicana (aka the greatest wrestling match ever). Spoiler blitzes Wahoo from the start, just beating on him from pillar to post, with nasty elbows to the head and neck and a big headbut which splits Wahoo open. Nothing fancy here, but every stomp, elbow and slam was just brutal. Spoiler isn't a fancy highflyer, but he is really agile, and gets to the top with tremendous ease, really the first time I have seen the Spoiler and gotten the hype, he was so good here. Wahoo doesn't hit an offensive move for the first five minutes or so, but turns the tide with a huge chop to the head, you totally buy Wahoo as a guy who has one shot power like that.. After Wahoo gets on track it is back and forth brutality for 3 falls. We get a great BS finish with Wahoo countering the claw hold by turning around the Spoiler's mask, and the blind Spoiler claws Gary Hart and then the ref before getting DQed. Loved the idea of the blind bear just mauling everyone. Such a great match, and a hell of a discovery.

Dumbest foreign object ever
When you tape your fist it cushions your fist so you can throw a harder punch. It is why boxers and MMA fighters tape their fists before fights

The Ivan v. Dusty match was part of the stuff we watched for the mid-south set. It was fun for sure

Man alive that main event looks so good. After watching the Mexican Death cage match, and seeing how great Lothario and Gino have been in other matches, I think that might be an all time great feud. So excited to see all of their matchups

Man Caprice Coleman is still around? I remember him as Ice on the old Omega shows back in the 90s he has got to be getting on in years

I would assume Robert Fuller would be the benefactor, maybe he could talk about how he became friends with the VIllanos in WCW.

Feuds on NWA Classics
I am going to second that. Lothario has been the big revelation of this footage, nothing we had of him before would suggest he was this great as a brawler. The more Lothario the better!!

Jose Lothario
I look at Jose a lot like I look at Jackie Fargo, very similar wrestlers where we mostly have a handful of brawls near the end of their career. I am going to rank both and I need to think about who goes higher. We are getting a new awesome Lothario match a week at this point, so I imagine he will end up higher. As far as footage we have to be willing to go with some small sample size guys or we will be limiting ourselves to guys who's primes were in promotions with tape in the mid 80s and beyond. For example how many great Tommy Rich matches do we have? But no one can make a list like this and DQ Tommy Rich.
