Random Hypothetical Question
He tapped out to Cena clean in the middle of the ring. That is not a fluke. HHH has done enough shit that their is no need to trump up shit. The Cena "burial" has no merit,

Tag Team Decline
I'm watching the end of his run in 88 and he is coming up with lots of great ideas. Sometimes there is too much going on but most of it is worth keeping up with.

Random Hypothetical Question
Wasn't the entire Batista storyline from 04/05 HHH's? If he is not trying to protect his spot I see no reason to think he would not be really good at booking. Road Dogg put him over as being a guy who comes up with great finishes. This was between calling him a two faced motherfucker so he was not sucking up.

ROH Sold to Sinclair Broadcasting Group
I could believe it either way #2 ain't what it use to be.

ROH Sold to Sinclair Broadcasting Group
Then mentioning SMW and OVW as failed promotions. I'm sure DGUSA would be happy to draw like SMW did. OVW was a WWF developmental for years and made money. Then he throws in some bull plop about not having Kevin Kelly as annoncer because of some youth movement crap. The same logic that lead to WWE trying to replace Jim Ross for years.

The Undertaker's Streak vs. HHH's power
There is a Sting in Japan thing at Pro Wrestling torrents.

ROH Sold to Sinclair Broadcasting Group
By today's standards, Jim Herd was competent. TNA lowered the bar.

If you could do cool looking power shit they would find a place for you. Not like the Acolytes and Hardyz had catch phrases. Hardys were young dudes coming off from ladders. Acolytes were already veterans in WWF at this point, Ron Simmons had been a fixture in US wrestling for more than a decade, and Bradshaw was an office ass-kisser. Two past their prime guys from All Japan wouldn't have cut it. Look what they did to Vader in 1998. Well they started the shit with Vader after he gave his notice. Not that it made sense to bury a guy you want to get your young guys over. But up to his surgery they were actually doing a great job booking him. The angle with Kane injuring him was really well done and they got over what a huge deal it was to injure Vader. But anyway they did botch up Dr.Death and if you can't book Dr.death right then Furnas and Kraffat are in trouble.

They could not handle doing a basic chinlock for a minute or two. If you can't handle doing a chinlock you're not going to last long in the WWF of that time. If they had shown up in 98 or 99 they would of had a better chance just with how they were doing TV matches then. But it would of been a gamble with Russo having some power.

That's how you keep the finisher over. Never understood how the belly to belly was less credible than the Rock Bottom. I think Scorp burned his bridges with WCW. It was strange ECW never brought him back long term after the WWF fired him. Watching some AJPW and I can see why Furnas and Kroffat did not make it in the WWF. They are great doing moves and brawling but they were clueless working holds. It was like they were looking at a watch thinking "when I can I start doing moves again?" That mentality is death for a lower card WWF team in that period. They would of did well in WCW and made more money. Doing TV matches with the Steiners and the Faces of Fear and working sprint type matches. Al Snow said WCW never called him back in 95.

I only remember the one, but there might of been another. During the same period DX had two matches with the Hart Dynasty and really put them over.

Hogan/Andre is a good match.

Important wrestling history that's largely been ignored/forgotten/not written about nearly as much as it should be
Shawn said a deal with Wheaties was the final straw. Marty was pissed they were getting less than the other guys on the boxes. So he quit on Shawn's behalf or something.

That did not happen. They got a ton of offense on DX and got a visual pin on Shawn. That was as close as anyone was getting to beating DX.

You're confusing being injured with something hurting.

Who are you refering to ? Guys who say "It's supposed to be fake" are the ones who are right anyway. Unless you're refering to Lance Storm of course, which in that case, yes, is it annoying. No its suppose to look good. Whether its fake or not is a secondary concern.

Guess he's the exception. Though it is far less annoying if a guy with good punches says it.

Something I thought about recently. Why is it the only guys who say "Its suppose to be fake" always have shitty punches?

WCW ongoing thread
You can only blame Flair for turning heel. He hates working face even if its for the best.
