I was prepared to pass on Rufus in favor of Samu and then Samu went right before I picked and at that point I took it as a sign from god that I was supposed to take Rufus. There is actually one more person left, who I really don't have any idea what I would do with, but I feel compelled to take him with my next pick if he isn't gone by then. I need someone to save me from myself to use goc speak

I love Barrabas. In the early 80s PR footage I've seen he was basically the world's best JTTS. Really a super entertaining undercard worker. I was considering drafting him and putting him under a mask.

Jackson really wasn't taken that early in the grand scheme of things. You also have to recognize that different promotions have different needs, and certain guys have limited value in certain territories. There are actually a few guys left on the board who could easily be main eventers in several territories without even building them up through booking. That said of those guys, there are very few who would have all that much value to me in Portland without building them up through booking, and if I'm going to have to put in the effort I'd just as soon do it for someone like Gerry Morrow or Billy Two Eagles who fit the feel of the promotion better. Now having said all of that did we ever get a ruling on Billy Joe Travis?

I would really encourage everyone to try and make it at least two more rounds. I think there are enough people with at least some value left for each person to get at least two more picks with some utility.

Didn't pick that guy goc, but I may very well take him if he some how falls until my next pick. I wanted Rufus all along and have been sitting there staring at him on the board waiting for someone to pick him. I wanted to take him with my last two or three picks but I was legitimately trying to see if his home promotion wanted to take a stab at him. That didn't happen, so I am happy to bring him in. In terms of star power, and being a guy who could always get over anywhere, there really aren't many people on the board better. He has a rep of being an awful worker, but I actually enjoy his act god help me. I'm glad I got him especially this late, though I hated lapping someone. I honestly wouldn't have done it, but there is no way in hell I'll be up by nine and I don't want to be lapped myself.
